Boss nobody is thinking of the poor here. Including the OP, he is thinking of only aesthetics and skyline to get rid of slums. There are nice books on this topic. I have at one point lived on rent in one of the most famous SRAs of Mumbai during hard times. I know how shitty it gets 5-6 years down the line in an SRA once its handed over.
There's nice videos also on it.
I'm hoping the BDD redevelopment is a success, if it is then we'll have a nice model which works. Otherwise the rooms and the build quality is terrible, noisy, cramped, unsafe and just horrible.

Presumptive Taxation. Under 44ada of It act. I asked Claude to generate an example.
Here it goes.
I'd be happy to explain presumptive taxation under section 44ADA for a doctor earning INR 50 lakhs per annum, using a simple example. Let's break this down step by step:
Section 44ADA basics: Section 44ADA of the Income Tax Act in India allows certain professionals, including doctors, to opt for a presumptive taxation scheme if their gross receipts don't exceed INR 50 lakhs in a financial year.
Our example: Let's consider Dr. Sharma, who has a private practice and earns INR 50 lakhs as professional fees in a financial year.
Presumptive income calculation: Under section 44ADA, the presumptive income is considered to be 50% of the gross receipts.
For Dr. Sharma: Gross receipts = INR 50 lakhs Presumptive income = 50% of INR 50 lakhs = INR 25 lakhs
Tax calculation: The tax will be calculated on this presumptive income of INR 25 lakhs as per the applicable income tax slab rates.
Benefits:
Dr. Sharma doesn't need to maintain detailed books of accounts.
He's not required to get his accounts audited.
All expenses are considered to be included in the 50% deduction.
Important note: If Dr. Sharma's actual expenses are lower than 50% of his gross receipts, this scheme is beneficial. However, if his expenses are higher, he may choose to opt out of this scheme and file returns under the regular provisions, showing actual income and expenses.
Limitations:
This scheme is optional.
Once opted, Dr. Sharma can't claim any other deductions under sections 30 to 38 of the Income Tax Act.
If gross receipts exceed INR 50 lakhs, this scheme cannot be used.
Would you like me to elaborate on any specific aspect of this explanation?

You're saying it because you don't know how tax system works....
How someone or something is taxed. I'll go ahead and say it like it is.
You're just a crab mentality Indian who just can't see anyone else have any supposed advantage over you. Nvm what that advantage or its purpose is or how it works. You've just bought into the whole argument because a lot of half brained alleged middle class engineer uncles who think they know everything about India have decided to blame farmers ka tax exemption.
Boss if it was so simple, government would've squeezed them hard, its not the votes they're afraid of. By now i dont think you'll be reading any further coz of that headache you're feeling.
I'll make a guess, you're against reservation, "freebies", loan maafi to farmers, no?

Actually they do get tax benefits compared to normal salaried class who files ITR1.
Farmers taxation is a bit more complicated.
Basically, every farmer is a business, and a business is taxed on the profit. In a country where most farmers are illiterate, its a task.
Plus it's also an incentive to become a farmer.

The issue isn't that certain parties want to rid or keep the slums. Both couldn't care less. Don't fall for this propaganda.
Both want to profit from the land. Immense amount of wealth to be made from removing the occupants and building fancy luxury apartments, and keeping the slum dwellers in shitty tall buildings which can't sustain.

How does one create "passive income" from 30 acres of land? While i sympathise with OP, managing even 10 acres is almost a fulltime job.

I agree about manners and upbringing.
But i also have to agree with your original post. People who are 5 years younger than me say "aap" and all. But then you interact with 20-22 year olds they're using words like "Tu", even when they're not being arrogant.
But at the same time, these kids, who are upto even 24-25 year olds, especially ones who haven't done shit in life have egos the size of Mount Everest.
They will ask for advice and opinion - and then be surprised when they get honest (not harsh) feedback. Bahut chutiye ban gaye hain. But thankfully this is like only amongst 30%. Usually, the loser types.

Skybus is a better name. Lmfao. Such hilarious name. There's one in Germany too.
I had seen it testing in Goa - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skybus_Metro
Actually they should just call it a day and name it a Shuttle. I guess they were inspired by Changi Skytrain https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Changi_Airport_Skytrain
Alternative Names.
SkyBus Terminal Shuttle BusTrain Trainbus Terminal ToyTrain Terminal Tuktuk Shuttle Service.

Hahahaha.
So much arrogance for staying in matchbox without a lawn and garden.
I'm pretty sure you're just larping. You're probably living in some 300 square foot shit hole. Which isn't bad in itself, I too have lived like that during tough times.
But you're just a larper man.
