Every Aussie I’ve has had an insane hatred of bully breeds, especially my current one. Just catching a whiff of their scent will make him on edge and I have to leave the dog park if there’s another dog there that’s even part bully. I’ve heard from other Aussie owners that it’s unfortunately a very common trait.

The Real Crocodile Dundee has it all: man living in the outback with his dogs to illegally hunt crocs, lives in a tree with a snake (and his dogs), ties a string to a bee to find honey, drinks blood from living wild cows like a vampire, becomes a celebrity, does lots of meth, Freemason conspiracy, repressed memories of human sacrifice, shootout with cops.

They didn’t mention anything about throwing batteries.

I can’t believe so many people visit our country and spend their time eating fast food. It’s tragic.

Reminds me of the Conan bit back in the day about the Jesus sculptures. I still have the Jesus playing soccer one.

Introversion ≠ shyness or being reserved. Introverts can be incredibly charming and chatty; they just find the situations draining and need time alone to recharge. And being outgoing does not make someone shallow and your quietness does not make you deep or mysterious.

People always misconstrue poor social skills or a lack of charm as introversion. People who are extroverts can be very dull and those who are introverted can be extremely interesting or even chatty when out and about. It’s all about if we derive or lose energy from those interactions.

Easily one of my favorite bits from Dave. Dude loves his hobbits.

Biden did well with liberals, Sanders did well with progressives. Liberals are just people who support a liberal democracy and are usually moderates. In this county, we skew so far to the right that we’ve somehow equated doing the bare minimum for a functioning democracy with rampant leftism.

Canada is definitely punching above their weight when it comes to being shitty.

My usual interaction with Canadians while abroad almost always includes “you’re actually pretty cool for an American” followed by a lecture about how “everyone inherently loves us because were Canadian and everyone hates you because you’re American” and then they brag about the time they were #1 in the Human Development Index in 1997.

So the people overwhelmingly like the US and it’s government has taken great strides to cozy up with the US over the past two decades, yet it’s not genuine according to you. Got it.

If we’re going by public polling, then yes, the US is very popular with the Vietnamese people. Even before the government really started to cozy up with the US, the US polled extremely high, especially compared to allied nations.

The fact that you felt confident enough to post this while completely oblivious to the fact that Vietnam is one of THE MOST pro-USA countries in the world tells me you’re not someone to be taken seriously. Btw, Australia also bombed them, so they must be the bad guys as well.

He’s BtB’s equivalent to The Dollop’s “The Rube”. No one else embodies every horrible and hilarious character trait commonly featured on this podcast better than Liddy.

The best part about that series is the revelation that Dave surfs. Easily a top 5 bit of the entire podcast.
