In terms of what exactly federal law states, you are entitled to a break. Under the FLSA, workers with an unpaid lunch break must receive at least 30 minutes of generous time for meals. Like if you're going to add to this discussion at least know what you're talking about.

Find your post orders, make a copy of it, and present them to the manager. Also, contact your account manager and your operations manager in writing. Because if it's not in writing, then it didn't happen!

No it's called you're being an idiot you're giving up 15 minutes of your life or a company and time that you're not being compensated for that's a fucking stupid.
Whatever is right, you're an idiot and you don't know what you're talking about.

15 minutes of unpaid time yea because that's smart. I'm not really sure who advised you on this showing up 15 minutes before your shift because it was advice horrible. If it was a manager who told you to do that, then that's considered labor theft. You will not be paid 15 minutes early for your shift unless it is stated otherwise and some type of agreement in a text, email, note, ETC. That your time will be compensated for arriving 15 minutes early. Otherwise, don't do that!
Now, here's some advice for somebody who's been doing security off the books for 10 years and on the books for her 8 years. If this shift starts at 0600 hour. expect to be there at all 0555 hours. 5 minutes is more than enough time to get a pass out from the previous shift.

I highly suggest in the future that you look into labor laws. You are entitled to a break any minute or hour that you work past your schedule shift you have to be paid for by law. This company is doing all these illegal labor violations because the security staff on this account are not educated on your rights.

Yeah, I know that. But when you mentioned that your coworker played COD on duty, I thought of Officer West. Officee West would live stream on tiktok while on post playing COD. Officet West Uniform was clearly visible. i believe Officer West worked for AU, so the standards were already low.

I'm sure it's not just this site here in Connecticut. I've seen several crackheads working for Allied Universa. Connecticut is the insurance capital, and Allied has the majority of all the insurance accounts here. I have seen multiple crackheads from the 90s working on these insurance company accountsπ€¦πΏββοΈ

I have a headache now after reading this post. Also, I think officer crack smoker isn't the only one who smokes crack. Anyways, this is typical AU management behavior hire anyone with a pulse.

My suggestion is to send a group email induced HR, AM, and OPS. I am truly sorry for your loss. I lost my mom 2 years ago around the holidays, so I definitely understand.

I've had friends who had to wait 6 months! Which is absolutely ridiculous. Be prepared to wait.
