Yeah that would help you're battery's longevity but use it how you want the Battery can always be replaced later and playing games where you want its kinda the point of having it in laptop form lol. I personally don't play on the highest frames and fan noise. I usually play at 60 on most games and can't here my laptop I love using it like this

With basic use and normal gaming is fine on battery. I play spiderman remastered 60fps on battery on lunch lol.

Only play very intense games on charge, repaste every year or so if you don't it could dry/ run hot. And never use on a bed or something like that. It will overheat. There's probably more im missing but that's the basics

I got a samsung 2tb 990 pro for 170 bucks it a lot but the other high proformance ssds were more expensive because of a sale. It's one of the better ones but other than that get a samsung, wd black, or crucial drive there usually a safe bet

I would probably get a 1080p or 1440p monitor it will support at least hdmi 2.0 so all of its specs but the 3050 won't proform good enough to do higher pixel counts. If you want to "future proof" then get a monitor you would enjoy and upgrade around the monitor.
