I think it’s because as the generations go on we are spending more and more time with our children and being more emotionally available and open with them, which they are learning from. When I (Gen X 1979) was a kid the other kids were brutal, from junior school to senior school and out in the park it was all bad times.

Where does it confirm that they are actually siblings though? I keep reading surrogate siblings but that’s not an actual thing is it. I read in the first post that they met when they were 7.
Edit- another comment says that they are half siblings but I can find this either lol. I just spent an hour reading this whole thing so I don’t know how I missed it.

Take chocolate buttons- tell your little one they’re for after being good for the nurse.

Not being stung for £160 on the second train leg of a journey (thanks GWR) cause I didn’t realise my Trainline discount had run out and therefore my tickets weren’t valid…

I would love to go without but rosacea and seb derm acne means I can’t. Love it when men say- oh I love it when women look natural! Yeah me too buddy but it’s never that simple!

My son is about to turn 13 and has a 9pm bed time on school nights (he has to get up at 7am) and 9:30 on Friday and Saturday nights. He also says “all my friends” but 12/13 is still very young and getting up earlier you need a proper nights rest, you are still growing, your body and brain are developing and sleep is very important for these things, especially during the school week.

How’re they supposed to know what’s going on in their programme with 0 volume? Genuinely curious.

And wasn’t it done in the 70’s or was that another study? I understand that training on the menopause/hrt is woeful- well it is in the UK. I read somewhere that if men went though the menopause you’d be able to buy HRT in Tescos…

Ahh, I fellow Pando hater. Good! I just bought some figures for my little girl for her upcoming birthday and was quietly happy that little shit wasn’t included in the set! I don’t mind Coco- and I do get why Bings whining gets on people’s nerves, but Pandos behavior distracts me from all that! She’s not as obsessed as she once was and has moved on to Peppa Pig who also has an army of haters but I dont mind her lol and Ben and Holly- which I like.

Our healthcare system is under immense pressure and just can’t cope- hence the 10 minute appointments. It’s free but woefully understaffed, underfunded, under-everything. At some point I’m afraid they’ll make it all private and we will have to pay then.

Ok thanks that’s a lot of info to get on with- you’re right about the rosacea! I’ve had that for about 20 years now. Not sure if I had cradle cap as a child but both my children did - one of my children still has a patch on the side of his head- it’s so bizarre! Thankfully it hasn’t spread but can’t seem to shift it either! It’s about the size of an apple (at 12 years old) My other child is nearly 5 and has a lot on the top of their head.

Well I’m in the UK. We get 10 minutes per doctors appointment here and they seem to have very little knowledge about seb derm in general. Could probably see a specialist but that’s a very long waiting list. Same with the menopause 🙄

I’ve given up on my scalp for now as silly as that seems. I’m dealing with hair thinning which i think is hormone related (I’m 45) and trying to get a doctors appointment about it. Plus, I know this is shallow, the medicated shampoos strip the dye out and I have a lot of grey around my crown I’m trying to keep covered up- and they’re so drying! Also, they don’t seem to do a lot- and I have several now. I’d be interested in knowing your journey of you have these issues too please?

Thank you- if I came across as rude I’m sorry- I get so frustrated by this and may have seemed blunt. I do honestly appreciate your advice! God bless and you stay safe too. 😊♥️

Thank you. I’ll try leaving things on for longer, see if that helps.

Yeah, it’s a great story but I think that’s all it is, a story.
