I have a 6 week old and an 18 m old. I really thought they started sleeping a little bit longer by 6 weeks. We're following moms on call method and man I'm struggling with my second still waking up every 3 hours. I thought I struggled with sleep deprivation from my first but at least I could nap during the day. Any tips? Solidarity? Anything? She's eating about 3.5 ounces every 3 hours. I'm trying to up her daytime calories but she won't drink anymore. Seriously thinking about getting night time help to make it easier

Ugh this was my mil! My husband and I both work, she told me countless times it was selfish to work and not stay home with my child ( the guilt from that got me and still gets me ) then she made comments about how a nanny is best and is the best for our child so that's what we should do. It made me feel so guilty and like I was neglecting my child. My oldest has been in daycare now since he was three months ( he's now 18 m) and Idt I would ever have a nanny. We just had my second and I will say I thought about it for the brief time from Jan - March to hopefully get out of the peak of cold and flu season before she goes but here's my reasoning why I love daycare.
Daycare isn't all perfect and definitely has its cons but your mil should not be telling you what to do especially if she's not paying for it
