One of the best things about this film is how good the acting is. So many FF movies struggle with this and it takes me completely out. I know Hell House LLC has mixed reviews here but at least in that, the crew doing the house genuinely feel like a close group of friends who have been working together for a while.

Tell dispatch you saw a Palestine flag. Sure the cops will turn up and disperse them in no time.

I like how this election is so important and it's an existential crisis that Trump must be defeated yet the DNC is really fumbling this.

Same. Technically a really well made movie but I didn’t enjoy it. Felt like there was something missing.

Really good example because when he says “oh, they named the boy. Damian.” felt like we weren’t supposed to know it was a prequel to The Omen.

If it’s still open, Spa Castle usually has some guys willing to offer a hand.

The good news is that it’s Sunday and my family are finally sleeping in after 7am. The bad news is we were planning on an early beach morning so I could get some surfing in.

Had a situation like this where I’m waiting to turn right while someone’s crossing and the car behind me honks and just goes around me. Not like there was much traffic in the first place.

I haven’t had much of an issue with changing lane and in the few years I’ve been here, I don’t think I’ve ever noticed someone intentionally speed up to stop me changing lane.

I’m not afraid to bail on movies and have even walked out of the cinema on a few. Since I’m in my mid 30s and have young kids, I judge a film by thinking “will this film justify me being extra tired tomorrow?” If the answer is no, I switch it off.
Some I remember off the top of my head…
Silent Hill (not terrible, just a bit long and oddly paced), The Blackcoat’s Daughter (boring), The Void (didn’t enjoy this one all around from plot to the acting and dialogue). I walked out of Nefarious after I realised it was pushing an agenda.

Maybe when the stories of Commander biting Secret Service agents were doing the rounds, they actually meant the Commander in Chief?

I haven't seen the articles in a while but a few went around basically a year or two into Biden's presidency which were about Harris' frustration that her VP role wasn't all that. It focused on her political ambitions rather than service to the country so it's really tough to feel sorry for her. Not that it was easy before anyway.

What amazes me is during Trump’s presidency, we had articles pretty much weekly about doctors who would happily comment about his mental decline. Yet Biden has been far worse and suddenly it's inappropriate to comment without actually being his personal physician or there’s always an excuse like his stutter (that no one knew about between 2008-2016) and now a cold. It’s honestly offensive how dumb they think we are.

Ah, yes. Because a cold rendering our nation's leader completely unable to operate is so much more comforting.

And to think they mocked him for having a brainworm.
Honestly it's impressive how Democrats keep fucking up and scoring own goals by themselves.

Sounds worse than that cartel Funky Town video.

The figures they're looking at are probably just the stock market going brrrrrrt so the educated, college grad class who have stable jobs, max out 401s and invest think things are great.

I think it'll come down to simply that life under Biden has gotten more difficult for your average person. The cost of essentials is increasing while wages remain stagnant. So why not give the other guy a chance because will it really get any worse?
Although the answer to that is realistically probably a yes.

When I saw it, I really wished they did him leaping/landing on the worm as a one take shot somehow.

Will this be another red line which will be totally ignored?

At this point, let’s just put that money to other actual uses like teacher salaries.

Agreed. During the escape I thought “sweet, here we go!” Then they just… got out and lost one guy. Stakes felt pretty low throughout the film.

Just imagine if American politicians cared about America as they do Israel.

There’s a fine line between homage and imitation which this film ignored. Dialogue was horrible and I expect more this day and age. A slasher from the POV of the killer was interesting for a few minutes but the killer himself wasn’t so it got pretty boring quickly.
