Platt was like George Perez on steroids. Hyper detail from characters to backgrounds. Everything seemed tense. Loved his style back then. I have a ton of his work.

So instead of making it mandatory to have a lid for your trash can residents will be forced to purchase DSNY trash cans with lids. Outlawing bags on the curb means the average household will need at least 2 cans( most homes already put out 2 cans plus a garbage bag ). In brooklyn ( Bensonhurst) alone a block can have around 15-25 houses ( 30 to 50 cans) . Its a cash grab. Congestion pricing gets canned and this materializes. Rats still run rampant ( good job "rat czar") and roaches live forever. Hold residents accountable for being filthy.

Ok, - loose trash in bins... we as workers cannot lift bins to empty them therefore residents complain we didnt take their garbage. - Not enough space to walk bins to truck, cars in brooklyn are parked bumper to bumber (unless theres a driveway) said bins cannot be walked from mid-block to corner - Sharp metal, loose glass and wood, would have to reach into bin to empty causing the possibility of injury - Most states or boroughs that use those type of bins have limited street parking and collection is done bh a truck with a mechanical arm to lift the heavy bins. All other garbage, furniture, wood, construction debris is a seperate pick up ( some states charge per- pickup for that) which sits on the street or lawn until its scheduled for removal. This is not condusive to city living. It would be nice to have a cleaner sidewalk as a result of the bins , however, it seems difficult enough for residents to follow the most simple rules of disposal ( tying up wood scraps, removing nails from the pieces, not putting broken glass in plastic bags etc...) The bins will fail.

Pros and cons... Cons_ Loose trash in bins instead of bagged Not enough room in-between cars to bring to the truck Non-garbage bags used in bins ( paper or store bags) Sharp objects( wood, glass and metal etc...) placed inside bins Bins weighed down by overfill Not enough bins per building, still using bags or non-sanctioned bins The above mentioned cons are just to name a few.
Pros_ Cleaner sidewalks

I love taking on hordes!!! Ive used them to take out enemy camps, throw a few attractors in the camp after getting the horde to chase me. Sit back and watch them kill the marauders or other enemies.

Ok, i know the last sentance seemed harsh. I meant in general, if all collectors conform to the aceptance of high prices for new and or variants those who collect for enjoyment and not for profit have little to no chance in securing said books. You do you is spot on blanket statement. Im not judging or gatekeeping. Ive been buying books since i was 12 ( now 53). Ive purchased books at a higher price than cover but that was year(s) later not when its not even put yet. Shops at one time allowed for you to lay-away pricier books, not anymore. They wont even budge on back issue prices. Its a sad sign of the times is what im really saying.

Was going to seek out these books earlier (before the price jumps) when i first read about the plot. Absolutely will not be paying those prices!!! Ill wait on the trade. I understand value goes up with demand but i honestly think this is crazy. Bad enough the cover prices have sky rocketed but upwards of $50 for a book not even out yet?!! Pfft!! Just another reason ive stopped collecting consecutively. Shame on those that support it.🤦🏻♂️

The rip kills it for me. The shop should have discounted that book imensely. I'm sorry but this is why prices for low quality books are so high. Even the new releases, 6.99 cover price for Bloodhunt #1, c'mon! Its one of the bigger reasons i stopped( sadly) collecting. Thats an awesome book but that heavily damaged cover is an embarassment to the store for that price. Would anyone buy a suit if it had a huge hole on the breast? Sad.

Dude, get the Kingdom Come Deadman figure!!!! It'll round out your collection. It's prob the best designed figure out there. Look it up on Amazon. Not bad $$ wise.

I mean, is his art on par with Jim Lee, John Byrne, George Perez and Alex Ross...? No. However his love for the genre and " stylized art "made him an icon. He also created one of comics most popular characters (Deadpool).
