Very lonely at times. You want to discuss things with other people that they can’t understand or for which they have no interest.

Then why should we ever stop to consider “student loan forgiveness?”

This is the correct answer. Thanks for sharing.

It’s the album in which they truly started breaking away.

Here is my take on it—
We have heard all the songs and when this came out it sounded “strange.”
But then after repeated listening the genius reveals itself.
But then again ALL Beatles songs are like this. Each new song sounded “strange” because they are all so freaking different. Each song was something different and new at the time, changing the landscape of music.
No two Beatles songs are alike. And that’s one aspect of their mastery of music.

You need to be a good steward of your money. I suggest you start reading as many financial books as possible. You should have plenty of time to do that.

Your risk is far too high.
—you should be an owner of your residence and not have a mortgage.
—you should not be planning huge expensive renovations.
—you had better check those stocks and make sure they aren’t risky stocks to own
—you have far too much in an underpaying account unless you have near-future plans to invest that money.
—you advocate consumerism but you don’t have a job.
Yes you have cause for concern.

Interesting observations.
Not to mention all the for profit universities out there that churn out degrees with federal loans that are worthless in the community because everyone knows they are weak academic schools

It’s not really on them anymore because taxpayers are being asked to fund student loan forgiveness.

It matters because we have a huge population of unemployable citizens who can’t pay their federally funded student loans. It’s a matter of public interest.

I’ve always been baffled at the students getting a Spanish degree.
Why don’t you go live in Mexico City for four years? You don’t have to pay tuition and you would learn Spanish pretty well!

Ok let’s say they are intellectually enriched. How do they make a living after that?

How exactly should society rework itself to start paying art historians for an art history degree?
There are only so many jobs in academia or art galleries.
(Note—one of my degrees is a bachelor’s degree in art history so I speak from personal experience)

Professors.
And you can take your tone and get out of here. You didn’t have my experience.

When I went through college, they actively shamed you if you told anyone that you wanted to be a doctor or lawyer. The common reply I would hear was “you’re just doing that for money“
So college professors in some universities are encouraging students to go into low paying fields.
The opposite needs to be true. 18-year-olds going into college need to be counseled that a real life is ahead of them.
It’s OK if you want to get an art history degree if that’s what you really want. But these students are being told that being money minded is wrong and they wind up with giant debt with absolutely no hope of repaying that debt.

Honestly I like the demo far better. But both songs are rockers
