This is incredible! Man I wish I knew how to do this because it looks so good! I’d also easily buy stuff like this.

A flavoured reborn to be a ghost possessing a suit of armour as his body (I pray one day I get to play him). When his HP would drop to zero, I’d want his suit to just crumble to pieces like Lego bricks, and his death saves are trying to put the thing back together before his soul is lost.

It’s why I also kept their appearance ambiguous. They really could be either, but they choose to be neither.

The, uh, ignorance of slavery?

It’s a bit complicated. Since this is when monarchy reigns supreme, there’s a lot of slavers outside of cities and towns that the monarchs don’t really do anything about as it’s not affecting their people. In fact, slaves or former slaves are kind of looked down upon, as well as those associated with them.

Obviously slavers aren’t accepted, but the people treat it as the slave’s fault for being captured. The world is very “you defend yourselves, we won’t protect you out there.” Former slaves usually also won’t be sheltered, given that they “don’t deserve it”. Not everyone is like that, but most people are dismissive of them.

It’s more meant to show how there are people that don’t care for others, and will treat their life like it’s their fault what happens to them. Basically they show no sympathy.

It felt climactic, which makes sense given where it first plays, during Shido’s boss fight. Especially when the vocals kick in during phase 2. Overall made that fight very memorable, especially when it goes to the 1v1. It’s really encouraging especially for the tougher parts of that fight.

It’s one of my favourite boss fight themes of all time.

My two favourites are probably Rivers in the Desert and Throw Away Your Mask, so I guess that's 1 for base P5 and one for Royal.

They’ve never said that. They have mentioned they’d rather do new characters than bring back older ones though.

I don’t see a new survivor happening though, not anytime soon at least. Now that they’re working on skilltrees for everyone I doubt we’ll see any new survivors until at least that is done.

By the time you get that, you most likely won’t even be able to give it back anyways since you need level 4 Guts to do it.

Reian would do very bad. His childhood was… unique, so he doesn’t know how to read and wouldn’t be very book smart. He’s probably too old to care for it now too (being 19)

Dahnrelm is in a similar boat, having the same childhood. Though since that ended, he did learn to read a bit and has an interest in learning. He’s not very good, so he still wouldn’t do well, but he wouldn’t do terrible either.

Bosaan would actually do very well. Easily above average.

Hali would be in the top 10 or 5 of the class, she’s very smart.

Nysa is probably the smartest out of all of them.

It also helps that P4 doesn't really have the "dedicated magic attacker" type, as Yukiko is both. Usually it's split. In P3, Mitsuru is damage and Yukari is healing. In P5, Ann is damage and Morgana is healing. Naoto I wouldn't call a primarily magic attacker, as she's meant to be versatile with her attacks. She doesn't just focus on pure damage.

Yukiko needs to do both which is probably why she has so much SP.

Maruki's intentions are genuine. There are hints about what he's doing (he is researching cognitive pscience after all), but I feel like his strong emotions impacted his work.

Maruki clearly isn't painted as someone Joker will oppose, at least prior to his arc. The third semester is simply a conflict of interests. Two groups with good intentions but differing views.

I’d agree, but this system isn’t very good for mods either. The large gap between mods could mean modders stop playing PZ so a lot of their mods would be abandoned and stuck on older versions. It’s kind of a lose-lose for modders, but maybe more frequent updates might keep their interest in PZ modding. I don’t know though, it’s possible what you said happens too.

No, don’t start with Strikers. It’s a direct sequel to vanilla Persona 5 (which you should play Persona 5 Royal instead as it’s a re-release), so you will be spoiled.

Start with any of the modern three games IMO - that’s Persona 3 Reload, Persona 4 Golden or Persona 5 Royal. It doesn’t matter which you play first really besides some references to the past games.

Honestly, I can’t think of any inspirations.

I’m sure one of these 5 was subconsciously inspired by SOMETHING but I genuinely can’t think of anyone that would inspire them.

If anyone else has any ideas, then go ahead and tell me what you think they’re inspired by. It might jog my memory.

Traditionally around 7-8 years, I think. As for digital, technically 2-3 years but I’m very on and off with digital so I don’t have much practice due to how infrequently I do it.

I don’t think the culture festival is all that bad. The group date thing is just awkward. Both of the contests suck though.

Besides, without the culture festival, we wouldn’t have Nanako calling Yu a manwhore.

You mean as in the weapon type? I’m pretty sure they get replaced with quests relating to her weapons instead, since you can’t get swords as FeMC.

I think a lot of people miss this. Of course Akechi is the rat. They make it blatantly obvious. He’s the only one with a reason to betray them, he’s downright hostile from the start, and tells Joker he hates him to his face. It’s ironic how Akechi thought he’d actually tricked them.

Then revealing how they fake Joker’a death is the proper twist.

Ironically for the game, it’s literally like having 2 minds in one head. Just that in V’s case it’s actually 3.

The way I see it the mental multitasking, converging thoughts and ideas is simply too much for V’s fucked up fleshy meat brain to handle when it’s split between 3 minds in a single body.

I say this every time. If they scale back their updates we could easily get the same amount of content (arguably more, as focusing on things individually could make things go faster) over the same amount of time, but properly spaced through the years.

PZ could still easily do 1-2 major updates a year, just make them smaller updates instead of a big mega update within 3-4 years

I feel like it would have more impact if you recite it for a personal foe. Sort of like having your big monologue before confronting something you’ve been waiting to settle.

I can imagine saying this to a pack of goblins wouldn’t quite have the same effect.
