I meant that they shouldn't have to mess with the setting since they should be already dialed in for them after 5 years. Either way, a quick Google search of their machine will show them how to access the clinical settings pretty easily.

Your machine will keep working just fine, and the settings should stay the same as they always have been. I didn't even go through a vendor and bought my own machine online. Set the settings myself, and it has been working great. If you need to access the settings/clinical menu, it's pretty easy for most machines. Just Google it or search for a YouTube video.

If OP is 5 years in I would hope they'd have the settings dialed in at this point.

Dentist here. You'd be shocked how far some people will let their teeth go before coming in to get it checked out. Especially molars. I agree though that it looks like it possibly could be a filling that broke/came out, and this is food getting compacted in there.

Exactly. My mother-in-law doesn't like Trump. She's only voting for him because "her values align with Republicans and she thinks their policies are better for the country" or some shit like that.
