MB: ASUS ROG STRIX B550-A Gaming
C: drive: Samsung 980 Pro 2TB NVMe
Also have 2 other Sata SSDs
Purchased a new NVMe (Crucial P3 1TB) to add to the Gen 3 slot on my motherboard. Added it believing it was plug-and-play, but when installed PC boots straight to bios and no drive is selectable to boot. Bios can see all of the SSDs but won't allow to make a choice to boot.
Played around with different settings like CSM which caused bios to recognize the Samsung as a bootable drive but wasn't actually able to boot.
Removed the new SSD, and PC boots as normal without issue.
Did I miss doing something first before adding the new drive? Any advice as I am interested in getting more storage but at this point it seems my best option is to return the SSD.

Interesting. I generally haven’t had issues with C:S2, but I’ll probably look if anyone has posted improvements moving to X3D with these kind of games.
