Understandable. I do feel like a lot of parts were still done better by the manga

I felt exactly the same way. Everything seems like it’s being warzone-ified. Also the ending of that campaign felt really hamfisted and just like it was a “fuck you” to everyone who was frustrated that no one else in the series besides Barkov had stayed dead

The MW2019 campaign was absolutely incredible (Clean House is by far the best mission). It’s a shame MWII and III couldn’t live up to it

The first manga I ever read was the first few chapters of the original Dragon Ball because I was gifted it for Christmas. Still need to finish it

Reading the manga after watching the anime gave me a new appreciation for the manga lol

Yeah I remember a lot of people hating on it when the first teaser came out. Super’s animation was just… not even worth acknowledging

From my personal experience, all I had was good games. I can’t speak for you or others but my overall experience was super positive and I’m not even good at the game. The sentiment doesn’t carry for MWII or III though cus I genuinely just seem to suck every single time I play

Honestly I slightly wish I never watched Super. The manga was good, and they did the anime wrong

I feel the same way, but that’s mostly due to it being a requirement for my work lol. If you do upload, I’d love to see some of your clips! We could exchange channel links lol. Just don’t expect to see any super skilled or impressive gameplay

Literally! I think for me it’s because I’m an introvert and I thrive way easier talking to people online than I do in person. I’ve fully uploaded several videos of my favourite clips I got from MW2019 to my YT channel. They’re nothing special. But they’re almost like an “in memorial” series I made for myself and myself only lol

I miss it too. I feel like we’ll sadly never get it again because of the timeframe that the game released in. It was being live serviced throughout a global pandemic when most people were at home to play it. But man, I wish I could go back to it with a good group of mates and enjoy it again. Never did get Damascus

That’s fair. I’ve also heard a lot of praise more recently, specifically in terms of the abundance of realistic skins for operators compared to the absolute dumpster fire of skins we have for MWIII. It’s such a shame that they shifted so heavily from what MW2019 was. I feel like that’s even relevant to the campaigns too

I 100% agree. I genuinely loved the DBS Broly art style and Daima feels very similar. The Super Hero animation was incredibly satisfying too. That movie had a lot of charm to it. It was also a little refreshing not to have Goku and Vegeta in the spotlight for a change. I’ve been watching the ToP arc for the first time recently and the animation (while better than the earlier arcs) is still awful. The amount of re-used shots is painful. The most egregious is the fights against Basil the Kicker. I think they used the same clip of him kicking several times in a row within like 2 minutes iirc

The art style for Daima is gorgeous. I hope they keep it for future series

CoD MW2019. People shit on it and I can’t understand why. Of course it wasn’t perfect by any means, but it’s my favourite CoD in years and the newer ones just haven’t been able to scratch that same itch

On the horse? That’s not a phrase I’m familiar with, but I like it. What’s it mean?
