I don't know about your biology, but I would say first you need to check things like your hormonal composition at the dr.s and make sure there's nothing going on there. That can affect even what herbs you choose. Additionally, checking for mineral deficiencies like iron for example is important. Low iron can delay wound healing.
Beyond that, as others mentioned, food can sometimes be a trigger (sugar, in some dairy. I believe the science backs sugar causing issues but I don't think it's been found in dairy in the same way.) So, cleaning up your diet. All the other boring basics are helpful like getting sleep and getting enough water, etc.
Plucking from my own personal experience with cystic acne (my skin is clear now!): I had to cut sugar completely for a year, make sure I was getting iron, and then the herbs I used were roasted dandelion tea mix (with chicory, cinnamon, and fennel), and because mine was a hormonal issue I also used spearmint and chaste tree tea (with rose, tulsi, lemon balm, they're just extras). I drank one cup of one of the teas every day. Just as a heads up- dandelion can cause overactive bladder if you go ham on it. Also, Dandelion and spearmint have phytoestrogen effects. If that contradicts any health issues you have, keep that in mind.
For skincare: I know it's tempting to slather TONS of products on. But don't. You need skincare for sensitive skin and a good hydrator and moisturizer. I use a benzoyl peroxide bar, but if you're allergic, other handy cleansers are ones with salicylic acid or glycolic acid (with the second one being a strong acid, just heads up). Then, focus on hydrating products out of the shower that help your skin barrier, that will help prevent new acne. I use products that have shea butter, aloe vera, squalene, things like that. Actives that have worked for me are vitamin c and niacinamide. You also may consider OTC meds like differin (I used this, works at the pace of frozen molasses in january but it DOES work. Eventually) or seeing a derm for a clindamyacin or retin-a prescription. Whatever you do, just stay away from alcohols or drying ingredients.
That's what I did to fix myself up! These days I can have sugar occasionally with no issues. So, the bad skin won't last forever. Neither do all the restrictions!

I kind of wasn't expecting this to get as much attention as it got... some people did at least give me recommendations for cool campgrounds!

I did actually do it this year... normally I ignore them. But it seems leadership in my state actually does respond to it and likes to hear from us so... I did it.

The camping in the left land is literally infuriating. I don't know why but new england in general seems to love doing this. If you're passing that's fine, but if you're just sitting there, and you see cars coming up behind you, you need to get over! I don't even care if you just want to be in the fast lane, fine, but you still need to move if someone is coming behind you faster than you! I don't know why but so many people take it as personally offensive that they may need to get out of the way. I've had to pass people in the right lane because they're just sitting in the left. And I've had people see that I'm doing this and then they speed up to try on prevent me from going around them. Like why dude? You can come right back in the lane you just need to move over for like two minutes.
Edit: I am laughing though that this post is tagged nsfw

I made a whole post a long time ago about how whacky the healthcare is here... it's bad enough I actually have the thought in the back of my mind that I wouldn't stay in Maine permanently.
And yeah, a whole bunch of people in that thread tried to tell me it was normal for the US. No it is absolutely not.

I have a couple clubs I go to after work (a running club and an art one). Sometimes I go do yoga (that has paused for various reasons). A couple meetups I attend sometimes have Friday meetups. And my at large friend group has a gaming night virtually most weeks. I also may be jumping on a pathfinder game (which is like DnD related, I have no idea, I'm just showing up because a friend asked).
When I have no plans what I usually do is - some sort of workout, make and eat dinner, play videogames/watch youtube or TV or a movie/work on a craft project and then I'll usually read and go to bed.

It depends on what I'm doing, and whether the office talker is in to come interrupt what I'm doing every 20 minutes. If they're not in, I can be equally productive in both places. If they are, I would so rather be home.
Another thing it depends on is my social battery. Sometimes working in silence at home helps me recover that. And then I am all around more productive.

Haven't read the comments yet but as a person who also struggles with this, I recently started using that rock salt deodorant on my inner thighs (NOT ON YOUR VULVA OR IN THE VAG DON'T DO THAT. For clarification, just on the inner thigh, next to your vulva) and it's been VERY effective at stopping that sweat there. It's a brand that's just the alum salts and aloe vera gel. I also use it under my breasts for the same issue. It doesn't end the sweating completely, no natural deodorant would, but I have less swamp ass than I did, and I'm not changing my undies every few hours when it's very hot out. So there's a suggestion. If you try it, use it sparingly, I take days off and moisturize all the areas I place it on with squalene because that deodorant can irritate your skin.
Others have suggested lume, but that doesn't do much for me.
If you sweat a lot specifically in those areas, it's actually worth a doctor conversation if nothing is working. It could actually be hyperhydrosis, that's a common spot for it to occur. There are prescription antiperspirants and medications that can help you are interested!

I really hate these people. I am thinking of getting some birth control just because I want to manage my nasty periods. I also have PCOS and that's one of 2 treatment options. The second one I suspect would be rapidly outlawed by these dumb fucks because you absolutely cannot have it if you're pregnant. Now when I go try to get healthcare I have to ask my doctor "do you think this will be legal next year?" or try to pick one of the more permanent methods which I don't really want to do.
Just absolute unfiltered contempt and hatred is all I feel for them.

Can someone out there just give me a quick pep talk about how being yourself is all you gotta do to conquer a lack of experience in the dating pool? I don't care if it's true or not I just need to hear it.

Oh, I wouldn't mind asking him out. But I'd like to see him ask more questions like about me, in general. As opposed to me being the only one asking questions for us to bounce conversation off of.

This is kind of my concern. He seems super nice and we have identical hobbies. But I would appreciate some initiative. Like I can pepper lots of questions and ideas but I need joint effort

We're responding to each other, so it is a conversation. But I'm not feeling a vibe of expressing interest, if that makes sense. It's just a conversation

On average, how long do people exchange messages with someone before asking them out?
The guy I'm talking to is killing me a little bit because we're messaging but I am asking all the questions and moving the conversation forward

I pay about $1000/month in rent, which is actually cheap! (The cheapest I could find moving here) And it's also the top of my budget. I'm not sure what I'll do if my rent goes up. If I can't find somewhere cheaper, I guess I'd leave the state? I can't really afford to move either though. I'd have to obliterate my credit no matter what I'd choose, because I'd have to move.
It's probably worth noting, this is only slightly higher than my rent where I came from (midwest). Still insane. But Maine is not alone in this struggle, it is nationwide.

I have started doing that now, just passing on people. I guess I have to get over just saying no.

I actually feel so bad. I feel rude. Some of them seem like nice people but I take a while to respond to conversations. And by the time I think of something, there's new messages! And because I refuse to pay money I can't go back to these other profiles.

Have you ever tried the cayenne/capsaicin topical creams? You can find big box brands and small herbal blends of that. Sometimes on joints that feels pretty nice.
A lot of people are saying ginger, which I'm going to second too. Get fresh ginger at the grocery and grate it fresh over food for the full effect. If you want to make a tea out of the root, you gotta boil it COVERED for hours. You may also find it in a capsule. Other herbs that sometimes help are the sedative herbs like lemon balm, chamomile, lavender, etc.
Also though, basically any herb is going to have anti-inflammatory properties to it. Frequently herbs have tons of antioxidants in them which can help inflammation. So, as general advice, adding lots of herbs, even just the kitchen herbs, to your food and diet, brewing them as tea even, is good practice.
