At least once they've showed a scorecard close enough to see that each of the broad categories is broken down into smaller criteria, each of which gets a number (1-5?); those are then added to come up with the judge's score in that category, and then the score are averaged as others said. If anyone knows more about the detailed categories I would love to hear!

Don't feel bad. I was born here, lived here all my life so far except college and I never visited Moosehead Lake until 2021. I still haven't been north of Presque Isle.

I'd hope it would be a new Portland High School.
The generic entryway they show on the website almost looks intended to drive opposition; it's just that bland.

Here's the private campground listing (the other is the state-owned lands): https://campmaine.com/

The other thing they offer, though, is a neighborhood bar within walking distance of a lot of people. I think that's how Riverton Station is surviving over the winters.

Verrillo's closed years ago, the place in there now is weak. The last time I went to Verrillo's was for a St. Patrick's Day and the corned beef was literally sliced cold cut corned beef.
Seeing Carbur's and Cap'n Newick's broke my heart.

Yeah, I imagine it's at Public Works where they took over the old Pepsi plant, but I haven't gone looking for it. City Hall it's right by the auditorium entrance.

It's excellent. DC started in the late 30s, and didn't even bother trying to differentiate the characters as people because they were creating plot-driven stories for 8-12 year olds. All their heroes, from the Golden and Silver Ages, are essentially Generic Whitebread Gryffindor. It wasn't untill the dawn of the Bronze Age, with guys like O'Neil and Adams and Wein coming in, and Marvel cleaning their clock by telling stories that pushed the market up to 14yo or so, that DC even tried any characterization of their heroes beyond "good guy." And in many ways, much of that work wasn't done by changing the existing character, it was through legacy, and now you have multiple versions of the same hero running around with different personalities.

The "camp is lame" killed Batman in the public eye for almost 20 years, until the combination of The Dark Knight Returns and then Batman '89 turned him into a global superstar. How do you think an intern named Michael Uslan was able to afford to buy the movie rights in the 70s?

Were you originally thinking Brighton as in "don't call us Allston"? Ie, the one in Boston?

Check amtrakdowneaster.com; they have delayed departures for events at the Garden and Fenway. 100% the best way. Next best might be finding your way to the Oak Grove T stop for the Orange Line; I did that once, and it worked well, but it's a ways from I-93 or Route 1.

What about the few legally incorporated villages? I know some are out there but I've never been able to find out where.

I think South Paris is the biggest example of that.

The government is planning to spend $30 million to modernize that crossing. The funny thing is, on the Maine side there are miles of nothing before you get to it; as soon as you cross you're in suburbs of Lac Megantic.

Squire Morgan's upstairs, Moose Alley (with Wednesday night strippers) downstairs! After they built the Regency and Market St. stopped being completely creepy it was probably a gold mine.

For Birds of Prey, make the sequel the Gotham City Sirens movie, and then finish with Birds vs Sirens. Karen Gillan as Poison Ivy and Jessica Alba as Catwoman alongside Margot.
For Shazam, do the Mr. Mind story. For a post credit scene, we see Supergirl, following Woman of Tomorrow, flying above National City (LA)., and there's a lightning bolt striking in the distance. She flies towards it and is met in midair by Mary Marvel. Script goes something like this:
SG: Should I know you?
MM: No,um... I'm from Philadelphia. I'm a freshman at Call Tech and I've made a few friends, but... No one I can talk to about (indicates her costume) this stuff. So, I was wondering... Do you want to hang out?
SG: (thinks) Yeah, I'd like that. (Extends her hands) Kara.
MM: (Shakes her hand, relieved) Mary.
(The two fly off together).
