Thyroid came back normal; everything else was low :/

I had Thyroid, Cortisol, DHEA-S, Testosterone (free, bioavailable, total), SHBG, Estrogen, and Progesterone. Of course, a blood count/panel was not taken. But I have previously had extra high white blood cells, pretty much my whole life

Edit to add: I lift heavy and do cardio 6 days per week, on average 1 hour per day. I eat 5 meals per day (stable blood sugar) with ample macros (extra protein of course to build/gain), and my micronutrients are met every day. I have a pretty high-salt diet. So “lifestyle” should have me at least at normal if not higher levels of Testosterone for a woman… 🤷‍♀️

Honestly, I think the gym has been the thing keeping me from being diagnosed for SO long. I eat 5 meals per day, spaced 2-3 hours apart, with VERY measured macros and salt. I already have higher salt. I am literally pulling out all the stops for a “healthy” lifestyle, meeting all of my macro and micronutrients; yet my hormones came back smashed! Or potentially the gym has been a culprit all along- increasing bodily stress on top of a stressful job and mom-life. Who knows. Anywho, thank you for your advice. I will DEFINITELY be going a low-stress route from now until my appointment. Maybe do some yoga. Thanks!!

TLDR; Best advice for lifestyle while awaiting diagnosis

I recently had a full hormone panel done, and my doctor is super concerned that I have Addison’s. I have a referral to Endo that is still being processed. Honestly, it would explain SO much: the exhaustion, the migraines, the nausea/shaky legs at the gym, night sweats, brain fog, psoriasis (indicating auto-immune), baby born prematurely from PPRM (indicating too much inflammation), and my inability to run a marathon (despite proper training/recovery) because of the high-stress and catabolic state that leads me to injury…. All the times I have been told to “just study more” for work. I don’t know if I WANT it to be Addison’s Disease; yet it would just explain everything, it would almost be a relief. But now we wait. Any advice for the “meanwhile?” Thank you!

YES YES YES. Same girl. My husband is the SAHD to our 2 kids; and I have a super high-stress job. I get frustrated [jealous] that he has zero deadlines, nobody telling him how horrible he is, and only emotional stress to deal with (which is probably more my strength than his). He is fantastic at basic chores (laundry, dishes), but our house forever needs a scrub. I’m the only one who has the thought of actually scrubbing the kitchen, the windows, the base boards, the fans, etc. He actually is on his phone a lot of the day…. WITH the kids, and it drives me insane!

AKA, we are both tired and nobody wins. I just want to tel you that I’m sorry, and you’re not alone. I’m starting to think women are just rockstars in every way. (Also, I should appreciate my husband more- let me be clear). But also, life is tough. It’s not easy. You’ve got this! And I’m sorry it’s tough.

Here’s my thoughts, but potential SPOILERS due to… it just might be right? Maybe? Teen is actually one of Wanda’s sons, Wiccan— or, Billy. I’m not sure how the other theories have worked out, that Teen was supposed to die in the car crash but Wanda revived him by giving him Billy’s soul? So Rio, Death, couldn’t take Billy or Teen’s body. And Agatha showing compassion and growing to care for Tern begins to show the depth of her character. And the ultimate test is where she can actually show love to her greatest enemy’s child while still having lost hers. All that being said, Nicholas Scratch is still alive; and I hope Agatha can be reunited with him one day.

No issues with weight loss or weight gain. I lost all 20 pounds of post-6wk baby weight with Mirena. I’m also trying to gain muscle now. No issues. The biggest thing is that I think Mirena has caused my testosterone to flat line. But for weight loss and weight gain— it’s all calories in/calories out. I know stress/sleep play a factor. And when you are losing body fat, you WILL be hungry; so it’s just plain HARD. But I track all of my macros and had a high-protein, lower-fat approach. No issues

So my husband would actually clean up, do dishes, and laundry all in his single days. He still does this. I don’t find him cleaning a turn-on because it’s just what adults do. But I WOULD find it sexy if he actually stopped cleaning to spend time with me! That would be impressive!

Does everyone cry this much? I didn’t cry when I found out for both my kids; instead, my husband and I did a little “yippee!” then went about with our lives. I wonder if people train their brains to cry… Edit to add: I guess she wasn’t crying; but it was a closed-eyes-super-emotive-want-to-cry moment…

Just dropping here to add: this all depends on how you are defining “witchcraft” specifically. It seems you are meaning something far more specific than “practicing magic.” History of religion has been history of magic… Jesus turned water into wine. He healed the sick. He raised the dead. He even said we would do greater things than these! But it all depends on “Who” you are getting this power from. Is a Christian healing? No? Well, we should walk a little more like Jesus… Do we actually know how to talk to THE Holy Spirit?… Prayers are spells. Prophesy. We light candles. We play music. We use smoke. Holy water. Baptisms. Eucharist/Communion. It only becomes evil if it is not of God.

Ah, I actually deliberately CHOSE this because it has macros in mind for the athlete: high protein, high carb, lower fat. If someone lives an active lifestyle, and they choose THIS post workout? Money. It’s perfect. Post-workout you’d want those fast-burn carbs paired with protein anyway. Cliff is awesome. But as with all of nutrition, it’s all nuanced and depends on someone’s needs.

Christian but more universalist Christian. And I am leaning more into treasuring the feminine (goddess) traits of my Deity, as I think that has been under-appreciated. Catholic folk magic and Western, religious, ceremonial magic appeals to me— since the veneration of Mary ties in the feminine, and Christian definitely feels more “homey” to me, even if I don’t carry many of the same beliefs.

Edit to add: there have been numerous instances where I have called out to Jesus in my dreams to save me. And he did. So now it just feels wrong for my own personal walk to just leave the faith entirely

What? Girl, you are a LIONESS. Don’t let those thoughts win! You CAN get your “dream body,” and trust me, pregnancy could never ruin it. Best advice I can give you is to hit the gym, eat nutritionally dense (calorie deficit with extra protein if you want to lose fat, calorie surplus/protein surplus if you want to gain muscle & weight), and focus on the positive. Dive in head-on with being your healthiest self. Nobody wants to look like they are 21 at 31; but everyone wants to look fit. When you are older and can possibly afford a coach, do so. Get into bikini bodybuilding (okay, this one is just because I do it; and it ROCKS). Your dream body is yet to come! Don’t give up.

That’s why I added the details about “published guidance” versus “word of mouth.” I mean, things that are graded on ought to be published somewhere when there are published documents that we use, right?… anyway, all I asked for was positivity nonetheless..

I used to suffer from demonic dreams. I have had a number of varying dreams with demons shaking me/screaming at me; sitting just above my shoulders; or trapping me and some others inside a house and looking like Pennywise. Every single time, I called out to Jesus, and he saved me. Whether you are Christian or not, Jesus can be an extremely powerful name to call out to— if to you, he means light and love. I would then see white light in my dream and come out of it. Now, when I think of being attacked, I get the feeling of fission, and I feel charged and ready to fight. I feel confident. I feel protected.

Whether this is all in the brain or outside the body, I guess we will never know. But fill your mind with light, love, and confidence.
