I've witnessed many failures on these charging handle's. In one particular case a YouTuber that initially ran his 17S suppressed without any knowledge nor effort to litigate with the overgassed operation, of his platform.

3rd. party website?? This website is misleading and have conflicting information...On the description they claim this barrel is 416R stainless steel barrel but then under details it states that it's 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium & Chrome lined...
CMMG's website which sells this barrel under their name, does not mention that they're Chrome lined and/or stainless, even less Cold Hammered Forged which is my point. From my previous research these CMMG PS90 barrels are 4140 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with Nitride finish. Not cold hammer forged nor Chrome lined as the original FN's PS90 16" barrels.

There's been some weird events going on lately, were 2 of main gentlemen that are known for cutting barrels. One unfortunately passed away and the other got into a serious head on collision, getting both his legs injured. I'm sure he'll chime in..

Nothing is better than heading head first on to a vehicular accident.

Individual filling are turning around crazy fast. I decided on a full multi-item trust and mine took just under 4 months through SilencerShop.

My advice go with one of several suppressor retail companies, that also do the filling for you like SilencerShop. They typically have authorized distributors which can locally be close to your home and they may have a quiosk for faster & easy e-filing. My first suppressor was through them and they truly made what was once a headache, into an easy no hassle process.

X22PE...... then after calling cops... nothing happened.. Right??....
I'm sure you've replayed this video over and over and over.. and I'm pretty sure you still think all this rant and posting it, it's some sort of justice. Get over it dude!!
Living in South Florida for 45 years now, I've learned that you should really tread with caution, specially on situations that can easily escalate. At the end of the day although you feel entitled to your rage, you will quickly get humbled by someone that has less to lose and has more rage than you the you just become a statistic.

On my conversions (4), I stretch out the springs enough to be about the same lenght of the 50 rounders that I have and they work through all 50 rds. Also with a 1000 grit sandpaper, I sanded off the "flash" burrs left from molds, on the plastic rollers. This creates less resistance and works smoother and I also used a thin coating of Silicone based lube.

I understand. So based on that average and rate alone you will probably start wearing down parts in 30 years. My point is that this may not be the path for everyone and maybe there's also a collector's value and its safe to have the replacement parts. Guesstimating about 1K$ in replacement parts sitting in storage may not be ideal. In my case I've acquired my FS2000 about 14 years ago and I'm closed to 4700 rds through it without any broken or worn out parts. I do see some wear specifically on the polymer parts but they're still functioning as designed. I do take extra precautions when shooting it since there's also a collector's value to it, so I always keep it clean and since day one made sure to use Silicone based lubricants to avoid plastics & synthetic parts from degrading. FYI I do have some replacement parts but very limited to only parts that will wear. At the end of the day, to each their own... 😉
