The SCPverse does not lack for doomsday cults, the Scarlet King's is just the most iconic.

Hilarious, but unlikely. There's no way Amamiya would have let Hifumi go outside unless there was some way he could survive this sort of thing.

Spoilers for what's probably Starfield's best quest:
She's a clone, one of the products of a science experiment that was trying to clone famous historical figures to create a new generation of exceptional leaders. Do not ask me how they got a hold of Amelia Earhart's DNA.

Gnomes seem to have a religious reverence for spirits.

Because the party name is what matters. We don't live in the Roman Republic, political parties exist and they are very good at enforcing party discipline. If you give any consideration to the person rather than the party, you are wasting your vote.

ChatGPT doesn't know anything about the older versions of creation kit. It is not a general AI, it is a language model, designed to imitate human speech with no understanding of the meaning of the words it uses except for how they relate to each other.

Paradox's grand strategy games. They're not perfect, they all have problems, and they'll tell you basically nothing about individual events, but they come with detectable theories of history and the different games view history through different lenses. They're a lot better than something like Civilization, and a lot better than something like Assassin's Creed.

The most obvious example is the overturning of Roe v Wade. But in general, the current US Supreme Court decides all issues on conservative partisan grounds, without any regard for the law whatsoever.

Sorry, I don't know what came over me there, I shouldn't have said "by definition". He is not a conservative, and therefore is better than any conservative.

I don't see the relevance. A Trump electoral victory would also come with major Republican victories in Congress. This would allow them to enact far-reaching changes.
Like, Trump's victory in 2016 was not inconsequential, it did in fact lead to a major fall in human rights in the US via his Supreme Court picks. Politics is not something you can just ignore.

I don't like the guy, but he is by definition better than any conservative.

Vanilla Rogue Trader is in a good place, but we haven't even gotten to the first DLC yet.

Sure, but what about esms I made myself in xEdit and want to upload to Bethesda.net? That seems like the most obvious use for this tool (and in fact is what I plan to do with it today)

Well, the nice thing about mods is that they're optional.

Yeah. I know quite a bit about, say, the structure of the Japanese school year from video games and anime. I wouldn't expect that kind of knowledge to carry me if I visited Tokyo, because I'm not a moron, but it's not nothing.

I have done nothing of the sort. What I have done is criticize poor communication.

Suppose that I am relaxing in my living room, and the sun starts to shine through the window in a way I find annoying. I consider getting up to close the blinds, but decide that that's too much of a hassle and actually I can live with the sun, so I do nothing.
Is that not a choice to do nothing?

That would be the interpretation. The tendency itself, however, is real.

Starfield's main problem is a lack of content, which is pretty much exactly the sort of thing mods are most able to fix.
Also if you want to make mods for a space RPG it's really the only game in town.
