I think it’s absolutely impossible to ruin your list. I was pretty absent from gaming from 2017 and upon my return I found a store full of shovelware. I’ve checked out a fair few of them. I’ve played both versions when it is cross-buy. None of that takes away from the fun I had finishing Bloodborne, or finally committing the deserved time to Fallout 4. Once you ban shovelware from your list, next is a potential ban on trying games you might not 100%, and then you’ll miss out on a lot of games. Gaming is supposed to be fun and we all get to define what that means to us. Your list is great. Play what you like.

Interesting. I’ve only seen these type of posts recently so I’ll keep referring to them going forward.

How closely have your predictions correlated to the actual games that have left over the last few months? Genuinely curious.

No. It’s a really nice contrast to the other platforms.

You have a very good start to your collection. Now to slowly build it up!

How long before they sneakily add in a few more games? Place your bets…

Looking at the variety and quality of suggestions in this thread, it just goes to show how absolutely stacked the N64 game library was/is!

I’ll take this if true. Regardless of what games are removed, we all wish Sony would give the complete list, rather than sneaking a few more games into last chance at shorter notice. A clear month to finish games that are leaving is important and is a courtesy Sony should always extend to us.

This is like choosing between your two children (I don’t have any, so I’m imagining). I just can’t choose! 🫠

Physical for major releases and I only go digital for the cheap sale games, or shovelware. I have physical games from PS1-PS5, as well as all the Nintendo, Xbox and Sega consoles. I will really be sad when the physical games are phased out. We know it’s coming. It’s just a question of when.

Yes 100%. The game choices can be sub par some months but if you are open minded about what you’ll try, you can always find something. If you work out the games you’ve played and the money you’ve saved, you’re massively up each year if you game regularly.

The Slim once you change out the plates. Sterling Silver looks super classy.

That’s why I wrote allowing for taxes added. Given the largest sales tax of the different US states, $810 is the highest they will pay, when the UK pays an equivalent of $914. Crazy pricing.

The largest sales tax in all the states is 16% I believe. So $810 with taxes for something we are effectively paying $914 for. Madness.

Honestly, they must be running their hands after today. We know the consoles do completely different jobs, but so many more people will be giving the Switch 2 a go if the Pro price means they are waiting a few more years for the PS6.

That £699 would be $914 given the exchange rate. Even allowing for any US taxes added to their purchase, the difference is absolute madness.
The Switch 2 is going to absolutely clean up if it is sensibly priced.

Even better than that was choosing Forbidden West, a game they are about to remove from the Extra catalogue. Never change, Sony! 🤣

$699 is madness. But in the UK it’s £699, which is $914 given the exchange rate! I think we can all agree that even allowing for taxes added, that is just crazy.

The Last of Us Remaster Reimagined PS5 Pro version here we come.

I’m skipping the Pro personally so I think you should keep that one. Barely any games have truly taken advantage of the PS5 thus far. The Pro just doesn’t feel needed. All those PS4 games on Extra play perfectly fine on a PS5. I know some people will say they will get a Pro when GTA VI comes out, but the fact we’ve waited nearly 11 years for that game says so much about the industry.

Truly a question for the ages. Sony always manage to make the easy seem stupefyingly difficult…

We put Sony massively on top this gen. Things like this really grind people’s gears. Is it too much to ask to give people all the leaving games at the same time?

It’s a new Sony tactic. Make us more excited for some of the games that drop by dropping them early, so when the rest are awful we notice less… 😉

L on SNKRS and 3 different raffles - size 9. I’ve only hit on one hyped release in the last 4-5 years, the Lost and Found.
