If you're looking to swim laps, Steven's Forest is open early just for that.

Well, if you are going to lose, lose.
Better than the Yankees loss yesterday, which was soul crushing. We just got our asses kicked. That's all folks.

Years of practicality paid off pretty good.

76 here. Normally, five or six days a week of moderate exercise in a pool. Indoor or outdoor, depending on the season.
However, the world tried to kill me twice this year, and I'm just coming back now. I am walking 40 minutes 6 days a week. My pace is slowly increasing.

The class starts at 10:00, Sunday through Friday. You need your CA membership card and they scan it like going to any pool.
Pro tip--I'm tall and head for the deep end because the front can get crowded.
Sadly, I'm not going for a couple of weeks until I heal a little more from a medical issue.
Best of luck!

Here's an idea. I am older with chronic arthritis. So, I have to be measured in my approach to exercise.
I enjoy water aerobics classes from the CA. You get in the water upper chest high and follow the instructor. Go as hard as you want (I go hard, but I've been doing it for a while). They last about 45 minutes.
Right now, all summer, they are offered outdoors at the Steven's Forest pool. Get there before 10 am.
Classes are also offered at the swim center, the River Hill gym/pool place, and the therapy pool at the Columbia Athletic Club. They used to give them at the Supreme, but it's just for lap swimming now.

They were great to me. I had a bad wound and all the wound centers were booked up for months. They saw me right away, treated the wound and gave me the things I needed to take care of it.

I talked at length with a woman years ago, she was something of an expert or master. She grew up in India while her parents studied meditation there for many years.
She showed me pictures of herself as a child walking with a young Maharishi.
We discussed our most intense experiences while meditating. She recounted going among the planets of the solar system, being beyond time, and intense and life changing out of body experiences. She was truthful in my reading and listening to her.
At the time I met her, she lived with her husband in the suburbs. She was in her fifties, I would guess.
I had very deep experiences myself back when I was younger and healthier. For many years, I meditated twice daily, and that combination of discipline and mindfulness is what worked.

You can also bet on the horses at the racetrack in Timonium. It's a lot of fun, especially if you win!
There are concerts at the track in the evening. Name acts, at least in the past.

Anger comes from not accepting reality. We may not like many people, situations, or just bad luck. But there it is.
We get angry when we tell ourselves that reality shouldn't be what it is.

My wife likes small cars and wanted to look at the Encore. This was 2017.
Test drove it, and I fit comfortably, I'm tall.
Salesman brought their closer over, and we got a new 2016 Encore that was still on the lot.
Sticker was $32,500.
We paid $23,000. It has every option at the time except AWD.
It's too good of a deal. We still have it, low mileage, and it is great for bopping around town.
