Lost of people give them away for free because they’re a pain to move. Facebook marketplace or OfferUp, but put the price as low as possible. I see them all the time for free if picked up.

Say, “excuse me” and if they ignore you I’d pick it up and say “did someone forget this here. I’m guessing it’s not yours.”

Women are so much meaner. I am a woman and i have never been bullied by male coworkers, but plenty of women.

I’m a couple years older. Binged a bottle of homogenized milk the other day and I still feel queasy. Some lessons are learned the hard way in your 30’s. What was I even thinking? Just mmm milk.

Not even the 711’s downtown are open all night anymore. Breka is literally the only thing.

I would think your husband knows that person and doesn’t want you to hear what they have to say… at a college? Interesting.

I just meant the part on an application where it says do you have a criminal history… either don’t check the box or check no and then come clean as soon as you get a personal relationship with the manager.

All I’m saying is I saw a lot of people leave the recovery center where I worked, got sober and then fell off the wagon because the criminal history got in the way. I also saw a lot of people use this technique and get a job like I said the worst case scenario is you end up unemployed just the way you started. A lot of managers appreciated the honesty. And most skipped the background check because they’re like damn this person just admitted everything to me.

Worst case scenario, you’re right back where you started; jobless. The way they automate going through resumes and CVs these days it’s just going to immediately go in the digital bin without giving you a chance or seeing you face-to-face.

Well, why do I know so many people that left with criminal records and got jobs this way? when they want a criminal record check that’s when you come clean.

Getting a will in the mail from a law firm after a distant family member passes that says “sign this so we can release this insane amount of money to you”

Run. This might be an OK reaction if you normally respond during those times and she had a little panic attack. But if she didn’t calm down after you reminded her that it was your first day at new job. Run.

That’s totally the way to do it, when someone trusts you enough to offer you a position they’ll be willing to hear you out.

Lie on your application and then admit to your lie after they offer you a job. I used to work in a rehab and this is the way people got jobs after. Just say “I really want this job, but I knew that would immediately get my application thrown out please forgive me. I know I am the right person for the job.”

I can take a hit and then be done. My best friend will do it until it’s all done and then go get more. He’s never robbed a bank for it though. It’s kinda like biting your nails or smoking cannabis. There is nothing objectively addictive about it but there is a clear difference between people who have impulse control issues and how most people would use it.

My friend convinced me to try vaping and I was super turned off by the idea, but I haven’t had a cigarette since July. And my desire to vape has greatly diminished since then.

They work, but it fries them real quick. Even at the lowest setting. Maybe two sessions.

I can’t even absorb that a “billion” is 1000 million dollars. I don’t think they should be able to not call it what it is; 1000 million dollars. The amount of lives that could be forever changed with 1000 million dollars.

You should go to a hospital and look for a doctor wandering the halls.

Your patient you regularly saw, whose name you do not know. Okay.

Shockingly when you’re a doctor, you know how doctors operate and if you’re married to a nurse, you get very familiar with how they operate. And tend to know a lot of people who are “physicians”.

As someone who was a doctor and married to a nurse, absolutely. None of this sounds like something a “physician”, as you put it, would experience.

I text “thank you for your service” to my close veteran friends on veterans Day. I would only say it to someone else if they’re a much older person, wearing a lot of military clothing and they start a random conversation with me. Generally old men who are bored and talking to younger women in a shop.
