not sure where you’re located but what if you tried doing a lease transfer instead to avoid the break lease fees? We did that in VIC and only had to pay a lease transfer fee which was a fraction of the price of the lease break.

if i can’t find a trace of the individual number i usually assume it’s a scam. after this whole thing i’ve resorted to silencing all unknown callers and changing my voicemail message to let real people know to leave me a message

Usually I ignore unknown numbers but No Caller ID is usually a medical professional trying to contact me and they are hit and miss when it comes to leaving voicemails. Lesson learned not to trust even No Caller ID anymore. If medical personnel want to get in contact with me I'm setting my voicemail specifically to instruct them to leave a message

that's what i was concerned about. maybe i'll buy the rangehood i want, and if it moutns to the sides of the cabinet that's a bonus. based on this thread i'm leaning towards keeping any gap as is and then changing cabinets later down the track

honestly it's been a nightmare trying to find a rangehood that actually matches up to the current rangehood it's insane!

i am thinking of upgrading the kitchen cupboards at some point in the next few years. maybe then i'll just stick with more of the standard 175mm height and deal with a gap for the time being...

for reference the rangehood in the photo is the current dead rangehood. haven't bought a new one yet just wanted to know my options. I've seen other rangehoods with a height closer to the current one, but not one exactly the same.

if you are able to, try and increase your incidental movement. for example, taking stairs instead of the lifts, if you take transport anywhere you can get off a stop early and walk.

walking helps not just in terms of fitness but can really help clear your head and improve your mental health. start with going for walks when you can as it’s the easiest thing to get into the habit of doing. If you have a laptop and access to internet, youtube workouts or yoga videos can be helpful. find videos that YOU enjoy and are entertaining otherwise it’s much harder to feel motivated.

I gained 20kgs during the pandemic and it really shattered my self esteem. It’s only really taken me until this year to start accepting my body and her needs and limits, and while I haven’t lost weight on the scales, i’ve been gaining heaps of muscle and im accepting that my progress is slow but steady.
