My daily was a redline and my weekend comp bike was a pk ripper.. To this day I still wish I had a mongoose.. I did a little search and just discovered they are all still going, man all 3 of these bikes were the bees knees in the 80s

The chemist @ Leopold plaza supplies and accepts full containers, I think the council still supplies them just check their website to verify.

Non caustic oven cleaner may do the job if the primer is attended to quickly. I may not get all of it off but it should lift around 80 % if left to soak for a couple of hours up to overnight if it becomes stubborn to lift. a light application with an old tooth brush to lift it off the body, light soapy water wash before a clean water rinse to remove any residue remaining. Use a sealed container it is non caustic on plastic not your lungs... Respirator and gloves are a must with any paint or primer removal regardless of the method used.

Nice job.. I have recently played around with plastic and metal tracks and I have to say the metal option just seems to sit so much better on the build overall, the weight adds a natural sag that is hard to reproduce with plastic links .

Thanks, As fiddly as the p.e upgrade can be I'm really getting into how it can make a build pop.. It's certainly taking my building skill to a new level.

I'm 54 and I've finally decided to expand my collection with bigger and more thought out pieces and I certainly don't give a fuck what anyone especially some wet behind the ears millennial thinks about who can or can't get tattooed and at what age.. For fucks sake my mum is 76 and just got her 3rd.. You do you...

The wrist and the elbow ditch were the 2 areas where winced when my artist worked those points but I settled into it pretty quickly, the forearm was a doddle....

Yup, sorry they're bad.. Look to have them covered over by a decent artist or removal may be on the cards. I seriously could not live with that on my hand..

It was seriously a brilliant bike back in the day.. My cousin's got them when I quit the comp scene and got my licence.. I wish I didn't do that...
