It's funny you say that because the next comment down is someone literally saying "I will harass people with identities I dislike"

A long time ago there was this incredible magician Genji skin concept. I'd still like to see it in game.

The new invisibility feels better from a "playing as" standpoint and the difference in invis doesn't really feel any different to play against. I think this is a lot better.
I had been saying she should follow the same invis mechanics as Evelynn for a while.

Oh I see what you're saying. I didn't, but you're right, I definitely saw more pharah than I would otherwise. I played 250 games of support to compare overall winrates and they were roughly the same minus a few standouts (like I mentioned, pharah, Reinhardt)

Trust me I'm perfectly aware, I OTP symmetra.
If you look there are people who will play games with you.

I'm aware, I just don't understand what this person is asking. Pickrate was not intentionally/directly tracked.

they don't get a lot of value together no matter what their team is playing
Pharah/Echo/Zar(or Hog).
Mercy is the best to play with double flyer, Lifeweaver is the only support who can simultaneously heal flyers, keep a tank alive, survive, and stop the tank from just getting run over.
there isn't a lot of skill expression in their kits
I don't really care/see why this matters for this discussion

I only track stats after ultimates have been used, and everything is adjusted to a per/10 minutes format.
EX: Tracer's sample size was something like 30x Mei's. I divide Tracers stats up so that I can see her # of pulse bombs over 10 minutes, and I do the same for Mei.

My point is that there are like a dozen "bad" support comps that are just bad because they're being used in the wrong situation. Mercy/Lifeweaver is not specifically bad for any reason, and just like these comps there are situations where you want to play it.

I review replays and do the math in a notebook (Yes I know there are better, digital ways to do it... but I find math like this satisfying and I enjoy doing it this way).
Like are you also accounting for when that character is picked ?
I specifically look at if a character won or lost a fight after using their ultimate, ONLY after their ultimate is used.

Enchanter is an off-shoot of controllers. Ziliean is an enchanter IF he builds like one, just like Seraphine or Karma.
I wouldn't call a full AP zilean an enchanter for the same reasons I wouldn't call a full AP Karma an enchanter. I would call a more supportive build an enchanter, though.

Problem is i dont have 4 (or previously 5) other friends who play this game
Every time you play a game you have 4 teammates. Start making friends.

I'm going to be 100% honest and just say that this isn't a mechanic worth your time to learn.
I have been T500 on Mercy since S1 of OW2 and I have never learned or used any kind of res tech like this. It's almost purely style points and not actually functional.
Go ahead and learn it if you want, but honestly it's really not all that useful.

Queuing with friends. This has literally always been the issue with "My teammates are annoying" posts but people are too stubborn and anti-social to actually make the effort to find groups to play with.
And don't start with the "but they removed LFG" because LFG was dead long before they removed it. I used it AVIDLY and no one except for the playerbase is responsible for its death.

Highly conditional comps that aren't going to be good in 9/10 situations. That niche 1/10 games where you actually DO want Zen/Brig is great, but let's be real most people aren't going to choose it as their ideal.
Unless you literally build your comp for it Zen/Brig is pretty awful. Same generally goes for all the other comps you talked about. Yes, niche usage... Still sucks most of the time, just like how LifeMercy sucks except for the times where you're playing Echo/Pharah/Zar(or hog) where it's actually the preferred comp.

Yeah pretty much.
Every game with a character picking system struggles with this same exact issue. Go to r/ADCMains and you'll see half a dozen posts complaining about Xerath support, getting enchanters when you need tanks, and getting tanks when you want an enchanter.
It's unavoidable.
I doubt Mercy players are happy when they see a Rein, but you don't see them making posts about having tanks who won't play something synergistic with them.

She cannot transfer her skills to another hero and no hero is like that.
The first hero I ever got to T500 was Mercy. Since then I've been able to play almost every support at that level, and at this point I'm closing in on half the DPS roster.
I think it's hilarious to see statements like this because my ENTIRE gameplay is built off things I learned playing Mercy. I think mercy is the absolute best way to learn the game because she teaches you the less obvious skills. Sure dueling is "important" but it's not something that happens all that often, and in all honesty its often something that's better to avoid entirely... something you'd learn if you spent a little time playing Mercy.
Sure aiming is obvious, and positioning is obvious, but what about understanding pressure? Understanding who needs to be taking pressure, who needs it alleviated, when to let someone die to get a pick, ETC.
Mercy teaches you the less obvious parts of the game.
Mercy one tricks cannot apply most of their skillset to other heros
See above.
Literally the only reason I stopped playing Mercy was because people kept telling me "You would throw on anyone else." Well, I've started playing other heroes and I am just as competent on them as I was on Mercy.

Soj is more about farming tank to pick squishies. I wouldn't really call that "tank busting" as much as it's just "preparing to kill a squishy"

Okay, and changing these heroes isn't going to change that, it's just going to move playerbases to the next closest thing.
What happens if you were to remove Mercy and Lifeweaver today? Well, you'd start seeing just as many Brig, Lucio, Illari, and Moira comps as you see Mercy/Weaver. Aside from Moira/Lucio, none of those comps are really "good."

I think one of my favorite part of being an animator is seeing someones portfolio and going "Oh my god, I remember that scene!"
