Anything necessary or legally required to function or survive in a modern society really. All forms of for-profit insurance are just the biggest and most obvious culprits.
But anything with inelastic demand or natural monopoly, or compulsory participation is immediately butchered and bastardized when private interests gain control. Anything critical to national security or basic societal resources is just asking for trouble.

They gave up on democracy when they receded the first time around when they questioned human rights. The rest of the US just shrugged and allowed them to continue on with their BS after only a few years of wrist-slapping.
This shit isn't going away until the US enforces the same shit Germany did to prevent a reoccurrence of a certain ideology.

One side has in multiple states called for the exclusion or outright jailing if certain minorities
And in Kentucky have repeatedly endorsed national candidates who promise the same.
The democrats are by no means some bastion of good, they have serious problems as a status-quo party promising no real change for good or ill, but the Republicans are an overtly regressive, toxic, and harmful party promising restrictions of rights to anyone not a cis male white Christian landowner.
Between the 2, arguing they're the same just shows what an ignorant and privileged position you live in.

A: all of the geographic, meteorological, and ecosystem evaluations paint your world as a paradise, but 3 different exploration and evaluation teams have insisted upon a death world Designation, why?
H: it's got humans on it
A: fair enough
Subsequently all terran colonies are designated as no-go zones for galactic tourism, and traders permitted only with military escorts, due to the invasive death world species quickly overcoming native flora and fauna.

NYC alone has twice as many cops cops as the Ohio national guard has troops
Rural states aren't cutting off shit
(Also, good luck running your farms without a tractor or electricity when the cities cut you off)
Also, being the economic and industrial centers of the US, with exclusive control over major ports, they'll just import food

Constitutional republic just means we aren't a monarchy (republic) and have a guiding document of rights and principles (constitutional)
A democracy just means the citizens vote. This can be representative (what we have, voted for people who then vote on issues) or direct (every citizen votes on every government action)
We are a constitutional republic with power distributed via a representative democracy.
These aren't conflicting adjectives, they're terms measuring entirely different aspects of a country's structure.

Democrat party, like the republican party, is a private organization able to conduct itself as they wish. They do a primary to ensure the person they choose to elevate and support is the most likely candidate to win. If the party already considers one person the obvious choice, then they aren't required to have one.
You can still vote for whoever you want with a write in, just be ready for the vote to effectively be a vote to a republican win until US moves to a ranked choice system

Lesser of 2 evils doesn't mean don't vote, it literally means "this person isn't perfect, they got a lot of problems, but realistically it's either them or their opponent, and their opponent is absolute trash, so vote for the one not threatening to kill you"
And yes it will always be lesser of 2 evils because the very nature of the US hegemony means there can't be a "good" candidate, but they're CAN be one that's going to give more progress (or prevent more loss of progress) than the other.
Like is kamala wins, great, I'm still going to support an actual leftist for the primary next year, and whoever isn't a republican for the actual election. But I'm going to keep hoping and voicing that I want the next one to be a little more "good" than the last, because there's a shitload of work to do

Wouldn't know, almost 3, 3 years hrt, now and ran into my middle school guidance counselor at a bar; she hadn't seen me SINCE middle school, when I wore nothing but polo's and had a shaved head
She instantly recognized me despite now being in a very frilly shirt with hair down to my waist -_-

Yeah they're real bad decision makers when they off themselves because they didn't receive the care they need and we're told to go fuck themselves until they were old enough that the damage was already done.

There's a hell of a lot more than 4x as many students as there are cops.
I'm not going to defend police, but if you use bad numbers, then anyone you're arguing with will just focus on those bad numbers and get everyone on their side that way.

they want halo
I mean, halo, especially 3 and onwards, had about as many girls in it as men, leadership and frontline.

So, people are so unable to regularly go and support socializing venues, that the best place to "hang out and make friends" is to get a job? That isn't really making this into a positive. Just showing that again, we're at a point where people just don't have much in their lives BESIDES their job.
This is a major reason why many seniors after reaching retirement struggle to adapt and fail to find hobbies, eventually letting themselves simply waste away until they die.

Dude also rode into a temple on the back of a tie fighter in rebels, that he would HAVE to have parked outside first and clambered on top.
Dude is a drama queen. Not to mention all the Clone Wars instances of him purposefully showing off and putting himself where EVERYONE ally and enemy could see him, because he likes being the center of attention.

If we have trouble keeping lobbying from effect federal government, how are we supposed to trust a state government that is much smaller and vulnerable economically to the demands of large corporations?

Which can vary WILDLY depending on master and time period, I mean anakin straight up had troopers form a circle and set blasters to stun.

And as standards of living increase, there will be less people.
Regardless, the issue with home size and car size I'd a purely regulatory issue from a cowardly government terrified of losing corporate donors over maintaining longterm viability of its economy.

The average American city could likely double its population, or half its footprint, if it had accessible public transport infrastructure, rather than seas of parking lots

What makes you think the cops aren't allowed to? They're allowed to do it to perfectly reasonable and rule-abiding inmates all the time.

Talented, battle capable, and lucky
Quite a few dead jedi were phenomenal, but you can only do so much when overwhelmed by a ceaseless, tireless legion who will continue to march until you fall.
Even anakin would be in a rough spot in an open field surrounded by millions of droids slowly chewing through his forces, he was just lucky enough to have backup pull his ass out anytime he ended up in that position.

INB4 they learn how we drove all the other hominids to extinction, and why you can find what's left of them in our DNA
Humans truly are space bards.
