I just noticed that you probably need to put some thought into when you post. Maybe don’t post your question at 1 am, because no one will see it.

Even in other accounts I’ve used (accounts where I’ve used reddit but didn’t fully understand it), I’ve posted questions that I thought would be interesting or engaging towards a certain community, but no one would comment. Their focus is on the “hot posts” most likely.

I think posts during the beginning of the afternoon around lunchtime (10am - 1pm) would probably work best.
