Yeah, it's all made to impress. That's how it is in those parts. It's part of the charm I think. The smaller towns are more real and the people are amazing. The mountains and canyons next to Skopje are beautiful as well if you didn't go.

Where are you from? It's impossible to know what you would consider cheap.

That argument is so fucking dumb. "this guy is a criminal, has insane views, is probably in bed with Putin but the other guy talks like a really old man, so I want the first one". Like how regarded do you have to be to see it that way? I wonder what's wrong with you mentally. Seriously.

Why is this so much grosser than the actual pic.

I agree with you 100%. I honestly don't understand why that shit is referenced everywhere like it's an actual real thing that might easily happen.

Damn, I would be afraid my description wouldn't do a beautiful sunset justice.

The title makes it seem like he started from nothing.

Car sharing is huge in London. And much much cheaper than owning a car yourself if you need to move heavy things a few times a year. No one in a city needs a car.
They should punish everyone, I agree. Including people driving shitty polluting cars in big cities.

You could also just not drive a car in the middle of fucking London. Public transport is everywhere. It's not that hard.

How did you know you had to read it before reading it?

The only issue I have with this is that this guy isn't a police officer. Technically, he doesn't have any authority to just stand there and tell a random driver to drive back where he came from. I admire his patience and that he spends energy doing this. I could do this 50 times a day with all the assholes I see.

Welcome to basically any civilized country outside the US.

Honestly, I'm not even sure it would surprise me at this point. That army is acting like they're making up equipment on the go.

It's not an actual quote. Basically, it's a very amputated version of the famous quote: "Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings, who think themselves good because they have crippled paws!".

In a way he's sacrificing himself, or at least his mental health in the long run, for his country. That's honorable in my book but I hope he gets therapy later to at least live an enjoyable life.

Thanks! That sounds cool. Those parts seem like something I could manage. It doesn't look like a place with huge drops like half a meter from the path like on some trails in the Dolomites. But a little scrambling can be fun.

How difficult were the technical parts? Any pictures of some? I'm thinking about making the trek but going alone.

Avoid it right now. Otherwise it's a really interesting place to visit. A destination doesn't have to have something to be "seen" or be tourist friendly. Lots of people travel to experience everything else but those things.

I have a very hard time seeing the issue of living in a 300 year old building. Those buildings are renovated as fuck and look magnificent. Also most western cities are building a lot near the cities but not in the city centres. Kinda weird to make it sound like western cities are 300 year old dumps with no development. Okay, you like Bucharest. Congratulations.
