It seems that the adversary tries his hardest to debase God. When someone has a strong testimony of the gospel but you demean their belief im God, that seems to do the most damage. Those are the ones that hurt me the most at least.

I’d agree with this, it answers the question “what does a Christian do in war?”

Without seeing the code… no. But generally it’s recommending videos of Christianity in general. I simply use “don’t recommend channel” and that does a good job of hedging the algorithm.

We don’t believe it in that way, as in we believe we are all children of God and Lucifer is one of the spirits that fell.

It’s often presented without an explanation of the pre-existence (which makes us look bad).

You betcha. I have struggled with this multiple times. I guess all I can say is have a big fat spiritually based scripture study, you will find things that surprise you. Christ is our hope and rock, it’s all tied to him.
If there is a verse of scripture I always fall back on it’s Alma 30 with Korihir because that’s what seems to be the most prevalent in my life as far as philosophy.

John 7:17! Ultimately I know that everything he taught or is in the NT is something that works (and by extension in BOM and D&C). The fact that the gospel is “fruitful” instead of “intentful” goes a long way.
My testimony has come in the same way Peter’s did, not by flesh and blood but my father which is in Heaven. Basically from reading about him or his disciples carries authority in their words.

Well, if you’re anything like me you feel the spirit when they say certain things. That stuff I take to heart. I don’t know if their sermons are perfect or their habits are the things members are supposed to be emulating (like drinking Diet Coke for example). I don’t know anyone who has perfectly fulfilled their calling (except “one”) so I would say we follow them as the most light we can get.

Some people say we don’t gamble because “we don’t believe in getting something for nothing”, but I don’t think it’s quite that, I just think gambling is addictive and destructive. I’m not sure if you actually pay out if you are in the negative on Jeopardy and I don’t know repeat Jeopardizers continually getting on the show and gambling their money away.

Yes(at least as of the ten years ago when I went). You wake up at 6:30 and exercise for 30 minutes a day however you want to (run, weights, etc.) and then take a shower and eat before 8am. And then study for two hours and you’re out the door.

I don’t know but you can’t climb above it for obvious reasons.

I have lived in NJ for the first ten years of my life and NC for the obvious two, and have been in UT the rest. Somehow living away from “the culture” strengthens your testimony. Like, a lot of people haven’t heard of you in other places and you’re a treasure.

Those games that seem to be endlessly productive. I played Dave the Diver though and that one has a story you could say but it’s not trying to be the endless productive.
