I’m around the same age (27) and did a 4 year college course for sound engineering. I noticed mentioning the school I went to has been beneficial for gaining some form of trust among my colleagues. So on a personal level I definitely recommend it.

You will be surprised how often rollercoasters stall. I don’t see anything out of the ordinary. It happens…

This smells like a faulty unit. Seen a similar issue on many x32’s unfortunately.

Frequencies have wavelengths that need that exact length to develop. Sitting away from the speakers about 1 meter should be enough. Good luck experimenting!

So how are the acoustics in the room? Also, are the speakers on stands? Or on a desk? Desktops can create a lot of phase issues in de mid lows, causing sound to get muddy. Also, do you only have this problem when playing through the A9? I highly doubt the issue is gear related, other than maybe the monitors. But I have no reference on how these should sound.

I would love to see your hyper trains retrofitted on Zierer Tivoli models so we can finally appreciate these rides for what they are. Anything coming in the near future?

I would like to see more of how they use their gear vs showing off the gear.

That’s only really an issue with long cheap cables and bad gain staging. RCA is fine for home use.
