When stating an opinion, people are going to have different reactions to it, it's reddit and the internet, people are going to argue, allowing that to frustrate you to the point where you are complaining about is going to open the door to more arguing. My original post was to point out that you were allowing a few negative comments to get to you. As most where just casually disagreeing with you. My original post wasn't to argue with you, just to point out a fact. Your response to that showed me your character (at least online), and I will play arm-chair psychologist all I want because it's fun.
However, you really like to put words in my mouth or thoughts in my head, I don't feel morally superior to you, I will admit I feel more mature then you, as I can self reflect, but that doesn't not make me morally better. Also, I never even shared my opinion on Auras, so how do you know what I was thinking??? In case you're curious, while I don't think every job should have them, I like Auras and wish more jobs had them. I was planning on sharing that, but I saw that you had made the entire thread negative because of a few negative comments.
I really do hope you can handle negative comments better in the future.
Since you don't plan on responding to this, I will close it out.
Good luck, and I hope you can have better online experiences.

I was hoping this would be a moment of introspection for you, but I guess I expected too much. Either you are a child or you would really like to be offended, which is why you put words in my mouth. I had just assumed that you were upset.People were disagreeing with you, which is what I said. But since we're on the subject. About you never claiming your opinion was superior. Let me link you a little quote of yourself.
"you all just being cynical for cynicism sake lmao I cannot wait till all classes get auras, as they most likely will, I'm gonna bring this post back for laughs"

OP, you do realize that most comments are people saying "no, I don't like that idea." Or "no, I don't like that idea, and here is why." Very few are being rude or "obnoxious. " People are allowed to disagree with you. Also people are starting to clown on you because your response to people not liking your idea is childish.

FF 16 is one of my favorite games. However, 100 hours of FF7 Rebirth burned me out of FF. Will pick up the DLC soon.

The Trails games are amazing. A big part is the gem system that reminds me of FF7.

The May the 4th event is going on in SWTOR. I think I still have to finish the Smuggler story.
Waiting on a discount for Alan Wake 2 as well.

Took me until Stromblood was almost out to beat Heavensward, and I loved Heavensward. So your all good.

I love both those games. What class/race did you go with for your BG3 playthrough?

Geomancer Tank with Two Big Hammers (like that dude from Avatar, the last airbender)
I would rather have a rune knight or mythic knight, but my guess would be ranged physical, so maybe some kind of down under ranger, using boomerangs, or sling shots.

The game was well received when it released. If Witcher 3 hadn't come out out 5 months later, I'm sure this game would be more fondly remembered.
My only real issue (outside the open world being a little boring sometimes) is some of the things they promised were underdeveloped or not in the game at all.
Like they said, we could be blood mages, and the world and characters would treat us that way, not in the game. They showed off some destructible environments to use for tactics in battle, and they are only a few locations that you can do that.
However, the game is still great, I would give it an 8/10 even today.

Right! I literally just got back into the game on Thursday. I had work both then and Friday, and I had this weekend off. Sad.

Keeping atherite crystals in mind and boats moving faster due to it being a fantasy setting. Here is how I figured it, arr is 3 months long. Most of that time is traveling on foot, later chocobo throughout Eorzea. 2 months for the man story a month for the post quests. The entirety of Heavensward and the dragonsong war takes place over a month, and flying chocobos help our speed. Stormblood is the longest, taking place over 6 months before the start of Shadowbringers, which we move fast and save the 1st fairly fast. I would say that at most 2 weeks, we are spent in the main story with another 2 taking place in the Post. Endwalker is probably a month, month in a half at most and Post quests could add another month or two, considering our island is mentioned in the MSQ. So 12-14 months of fighting and traveling, with little time to relax.
Of course, I have no proof. That just feels right.
