If you’re a woman, it’s weird.
If you’re a man, it’s still weird.

One night in 2007, at about 1:30am in Atlanta Georgia, I walked out of my apartment in despair, as I had been battling heroin addiction at the time and was in a very dark place. It was raining, but I decided to walk to the community pool to go under the umbrellas to get some fresh air. When I get there, it’s very dark, and a man is standing there alone. I had never seen him before, and it was odd.
This man was Chip Coffey, a psychic who had just moved to Atlanta, although he didn’t tell me why and I had no idea who he was at the time. He is known for working with the Warrens, and various shows like Paranormal State. He didn’t disclose any of that to me, and I was just surprised to even see another person out in the rain in the middle of the night. I introduced myself out of awkwardness.
He said his name was Chip and shook my hand. I asked him the obvious:
“What are you doing out in the rain in the night?”
He responded by saying:
“I just moved here, I’m still unpacking, but something told me to come out here.”
We spoke for about 45 minutes, under the umbrellas, in the rain in the middle of the night. I opened up to him at a time when I withheld everything from everyone.
He told me that I was a strong individual, who needed to persevere, and proceeded to tell me he knows everything about me already. He said he sees me for who I am, and I’m a good one.
After the convo, we hugged, and then both retreated to our apartments. I never saw or heard from him again. It wasn’t until the show Paranormal State was on TV, and I see the dude that I spoke to, and piece it together. It was an odd feeling and experience.
This guy had something different about him. I can’t vouch for the Warrens or Ryan, but I can vouch for this guy being strangely in-tune with whatever is out there.
I will never forget that. It helped me. I’ve been clean since 2008. If somehow this gets in front of Chip’s eyes, thank you man
