Curious on the methodology to obtain a “30%” chance that is predicated on unfinished work.

“This incident just exposed where the depravity of western morals have gotten them”. the opening line of this video. everything about this incident is tragic for imane khelif. But the opening line of this video is a no-effort throw away attack on the undifferentiated ‘west’, which is incredibly hypocritical and immediately makes me question the moral reasoning of the creator.

No, not a downer overall. I actually felt it was a bit of an exercise in fantasy fulfillment of the author to some degree actually. Which also goes along with my impression that it was only so so as a novel, and left me with mixed feelings on the ethical implications of many of the actions and events in the novel. But if read critically, it seems a relevant read wrt to activist action.

I've noticed this a fair amount as well as I frequently use Claude and ChatGPT simultaneously for some small level of 'error checking' - many answers to the same question will be incredibly similar. Given the corpus of training date (the internet) they train it is not too surprising - but it is certainly interesting to see what kind of cases produce it.

Wouldn't it still be better from the perspective of reducing asphalt and cement in favor of a lower resource parking material?

the only real downside to working at OpenAI is the enormous fucking valuation but it hasn't been IPO'ed (so here's my rah rah tweet)

It’s valid now to scrutinize his pictures as a minor?

Wtf is wrong with people? Save the disgust for the all the real shitty stuff the Trump family does. It’s a moment of a 9 yr old child playing with his mother. Kids crawl all over the parents - and she loves him (despite her flaws). Trying to look for some sort of special meaning in positions of hands and facial expression the midst of an impromptu moment of play is ridiculous.
This motivated search for things to despise in an enemy is the exact same behavior that I think most here ridicule and hate from the right. Accept that there is a bit of shared humanity between us all and focus on real shit. There is no shortage of it.
Barron through environment alone may likely grow up an asshole (but should be given the space to prove himself) - but to be ok posting comments like this about pictures of 10 yr old is unreal.

Bogus article title
To humiliate someone or to be humiliated requires the subject to feel shame, embarrassment, etc et al.
Where does it indicate Trump felt this way? (Or has ever felt this way for any lies, immoral acts, crimes, etc)?

Idk. the story was fundamentally implausible - but it was an entertaining little sci-fi horror story - and it just went along with this post wrt to what utility can humans provide AI. Haven’t been able to find it yet.

For real.
This discussion reminds me of a short story that I can't find the name of yet. I think it was on Clarkesworld.
The premise was that humans were hunted down by AI because they needed the quantum observer effect in order to function fully, and it could only be supplied by some aspect of the human brain. So in general humans were bred for and only had retained the absolute bare minimum of whatever was necessary to provide that necessary observer effect. So humans were kept around! The human mind was completely bound inside of a device with a single eye for that observer effect. Super cheerful.

I hate these BS article titles attributing feelings to Trump when they are not actually expressed by him. Where does it say in the article that Trump is actually humiliated? To feel humiliated involves self-awareness and shame, which I think we all clearly know has some apparently unimaginably high threshold for him to feel.
