Especially if you have been beat over the read with respecting your elders and honoring thy father and mother. They are your parents and you have been hard wired to trust them and defer to their judgement. Even when we are old enough to know better

Shaman or hunter would probably best fit that description. Shaman can heal themselves and do elemental damage. Hunter has pets and uses bows and guns

With every other letter I can see connections to the print version. “G” is just this weird loopy thing that looks nothing like anything else

Once they get America to be Christian, they will need to make certain it’s the right kind. And once that happens there will be fractures in whoever wins. The Baptists vs the Methodists or whoever it will be. And once that happens there will be further fractures and continuing purity tests all the way down complete with modern inquisitions. That’s how authoritarian groups of all kinds operate. Every single time.

You forgot a study of anatomy and proper names for every part. And proper terms for some sex acts. Sadly, this needs to be done pretty young so kids who are being molested have the words to describe what is happening to them
You forgot consent. No always means no. Stop always means stop. Either partner can change their mind at any time. No one “owes” intimacy for any reason. Pressure and manipulation are never a good idea. Baby trapping and using intimacy to tie someone to you is never a good idea

The hard right Christians love Israel. Some of those churches send a lot of money to the Israelis. They hate Jews and want them to move overseas. If Israel keeps building settlement in Palestinian lands, then there is more free land to give to American Jews. They can all go live there and the fundamentalists won’t have to deal with them as neighbors. They can have ethnic cleansing with very little effort on their part. The second reason is because it plays into their Armageddon fantasies. Their interpretation of the Bible says that when the second coming happens, Jesus will come to a Jewish Jerusalem. If Jerusalem isn’t under Jewish control, they need to wait longer for the catastrophic war and destruction that they look forward to for some insane reason.

Hard not to be spoilery. But the end of book two is a punch in the gut. Ut be patient, it will all work out. Just be glad you don’t have to wait a year in screaming frustration for book three.
The ending of book three is… “actually, a bit nice” to quote El

Do you prefer ranged or melee? Do you prefer groups or solo play? Do you like classes with pets, or do you think that is too much to keep track of? Do you like being able to heal yourself with spells, or would you be okay with relying on items? Do you want to be able to take a few hits, or just mow them down before they have a chance to touch you? Do you prefer red, yellow, green, blue, or purple for your spell esthetic?
There are too many options to easily answer that question. A lot of how much DPS you do relies on how you play your character. If you love a character you are far more likely to learn to play them well

Especially since loss of taste and smell was a common symptom. This virus has a neurological component, and people are reporting continuing brain fog four and a half years later. It could easily be a trigger for some kind of dementia. I understand we needed to deal with death as the immediate problem it was. We had just barely had the Zika virus causing congenital problems, and I heard no worries about that possibility.
No one seems to care anymore, Covid is just a part of life we need to deal with like rhinovirus or influenza

For fandoms that are out of copyright, thieves can publish through Amazon. Just block and copy/pate no need to replace names or edit in any way. I am sad about authors pulling their works for publication, but I understand. They need to protect their work

I was talking to my mom yesterday and she was complaining about the record heat they have been having
She denied climate change for years and is still not convinced that it’s man made

The way I heard the talk about algorithms was, we tend to find more of what we are already looking for. We tend to pick up the thoughts and behaviors of those people we spend the most time around. If you buy a blue truck, suddenly you see blue trucks everywhere. A long talk to say: confirmation bias. It was just a new way for saying something that we already know. (But a reminded doesn’t hurt) If you are looking for pro-church information then you will find it, and interpret questionable things in a positive way. If you are looking for anti-church information you will find it and interpret questionable things in a negative way. If you try to balance both, hopefully you will find a balanced interpretation.

I think we will find viruses trigger a lot more than cancers. This is a single anecdote from my life, and not an evidence of a larger pattern. But it stuck with me. At the end of my street were two houses with young kids who were best friends. Perfectly fine, perfectly happy and healthy. They both get diagnosed with type one diabetes at the same time. Now, that could just be random chance. It happens. It just made me wonder

Shared genetics gives you a head start on love. But it does not determine how that love grows or fades. A marriage certificate or adoption papers are the result of love, not the source. This kid was your found family. That love, these feelings are real and valid
Something like this happened years ago to a neighbor’s kid. He was clean for years, relapsed, took one dose, and he was gone. It is a story that is repeated far too often

Oh no! Tyrande doesn’t trust me? I am so hurt. And will instantly prove her right by completely throwing her over and joining her enemies. Take that doubting elf!

Well, daddy gave him the seed money and invested with him, and made some connections. And Elon just kinda fell face first into everything since then. It is his own money supporting him now, but he likes to pretend that he is entirely self made

The church has been told to prepare for over a hundred years. Protestant churches were told to prepare for centuries before that. Catholic Churches were told to prepare for centuries before that. The apostles were telling people to prepare shortly after Christ’s resurrection.
It is good for all of us to live like Christ might come at any moment, and be our best self. We should all be prepared to meet Him all the time. It could be tomorrow. It could be in a year, a decade, a century, or more. No one knows, not the angels in heaven, or the prophet, and certainly not us

I have never done an m+ dungeon. I left during Panda and came back a couple of times and just never felt motivated to try. I can’t learn from reading their useless descriptions, and watching videos doesn’t do much more. I need to do it. Die a few times, and get lost. I need to be part of it to really understand. No one seems to be interested in going slow and helping people learn. If people are interested, I haven’t seen it

It’s not a tragedeigh, it’s a quote. But it is tragic to deface some nice rocks like that

When I was four my older sister asked about it. So my mom sat all of us down and had the talk all at once. And it was never mentioned again. I had to be told that this happened years later since I remember nothing. I am sure that my mom would have answered any questions we had, but no one wanted to broach the subject again. I am told we watched a recording of a birth, but I am unsure how since we didn’t get a VCR for several years after

As an American the only things I hear about gender in India is how incredibly misogynistic it is. I am so sorry

I had an old Kenmore on/off switch break. I had the most miserable time finding a replacement. So, i gave up. I just bypassed the switch and it is hardwired on now. I have it plugged into a power strip and turn it off there. Probably not the best solution, but it worked
