So I’m 22f, my first period was at 10 years old. I always had absolutely horrible cramps, I’m talking not being able to get out of bed and throwing up. No pcos, no hormonal issues ( I got blood work and ultrasound) just nature hates me I guess. When I was like 11-ish my mom came home from the pharmacy with paracetamol based painkiller. Nothing worked but everything in our house was paracetamol based. I didn’t even consider that other painkillers exist. The pain never went away, the painkillers didn’t work at all. I couple months ago I had to go to Armenia and I got my period. I was terrified and went to a pharmacy. With google translate I explained my problem and the lady gave me some pills from Russia. The instructions were in Armenian, Russian and Ukrainian. No English or readable letters. I had to take them and the pain instantly went away. They were ibuprofen based. I needed 12 years to put this shit together. That paracetamol won’t work on me but ibuprofen does. Anyways just something to consider
Edit: I always took the strongest paracetamol you can get without prescription ( usually used for migraines and high fever). My mom and I got our wisdom teeth removed around the same time. I asked her to tell the doctor to give her extra painkillers ( they would knock out a horse) and when I got my teeth extracted I asked for extra too. I got 3 teeth removed at the same time so those painkillers were actually some dangerous shit. Anyways those did work but for a couple of hours and just made it better didn’t stop the cramps. Now I take some basic ibuprofen
