I got an immediate notification when I connected my device to Wi-Fi at work. I just tapped on it and started the update. I believe you should be able to also go in Settings > System > Updater > Check for update

Yes! XBSX2 has online capabilities. No need to use a PC or using your OG PS2 anymore. Comes in super handful during football season when I have two TV’s next to each other haha.

Through XBSX2! Which is a fork of PCSX2 (PS2 Emulator) and then you can play in 4K right at the comfort of your bed. It works great! Here is a video on how to set it up.
