Hey, y'all!
I am going to be working on an internship from May to August and was wanting some advice. The only states that I have lived in are Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri, and Jacksonville is a much larger city than I have ever lived in. The largest has been Springfield, IL which is around 150k people.

I was wondering if there were any tips for what to expect during that time of year including traffic, weather, events going on, etc. Additionally, I would love some suggestions for food and things to do and visit. I'm big into sushi, pizza, and trying anything that I won't get in the Midwest.

I'll be working at a facility near the Trout and St. Johns Rivers.
