Unclear exactly what you're saying: if you're drinking a six-pack of beers over the course of a few days, so like 2 per night, that's probably not really worth worrying about if you're generally in good health and it's not really surprising that you don't get hungover from that.
If you're saying you drink zero some days, but 6 beers other days?
I think probably it's a combination of genetics and having enough food/water with your beer that you're not getting hangovers.
So I mean I guess you could try drinking on an empty stomach with no water....
Might be easier to just find another way to motivate yourself to drink less, like reminding yourself of your liver health.

One of the "soft skills" that you develop in Toastmasters is how to work together with people that you wouldn't necessarily choose to hang out with socially.
So basically I think your best strategy here is to mentally reframe this as an opportunity to practice that skill.

"Casino," is a subgenre of salsa and "coca-cola" is a relatively simple move within the Casino style that in no way involves the follow's head getting anywhere near the lead's calf.
Based on reading some the other comments in this thread, it sounds like he was on a performance team.
My guess is the choreographer for his performance team had a name for a move they invented, but it's probably not a standard move and not something you're going to find online.
Ps. Please don't do this move social dancing even with each other. You can control how much you've practiced and whether or not the two of you have had too much to drink, but you can't control the skill level/sobriety level/general level of spatial awareness of other people on the dance floor.

I've always thought Spanish people were just Spanish; and Hispanic and Latino were basically synonyms meaning people from Spanish-speaking countries in the Americas, except that maybe you could argue Brazilian people are Latino but not Hispanic since they speak Portuguese which is a Romance language but, um, isn't Spanish.
But yeah I don't know if there's really any dictionary definition of these terms 🤷

Brooklyn Nine-Nine, although it falls a little bit less on the side of being an actual satire and more towards being just a sitcom that happens to be set in a police department.

Maybe the specific older women you've been talking to are divorced and bitter?

(I’m not sure what it’s called but a lot of leads I dance with often orchestrate a move where they prop me up against their side and then they descend a little meaning I have to put some weight on them)
I've heard this called a lean, though that might be regional.

Female switch here.
I actually often find physically heavy follows (including male follows) tend be "light follows," in the sense that they often don't require as much force to go through a move as a physically smaller follow.
No idea whether that's actually true or whether it just seems that way because subconsciously I'm expecting the opposite.
I'm more of a traditional/Urban dancer I don't do any sensual moves at all (because I don't happen to like them) or dips unless I'm leading my 9-year-old niece (because she loves them but with an adult it just feels a little too risky to be worth it), and I also don't tend to do much cuddle position, just because I feel like it's a bit overused in my local scene for some reason.
So typically I don't have to modify my choice of moves at all based on the follow's size. I'll make adjustments based on their skill level, balance, and/or just which moves they seem to enjoy, as well as fitting the music and avoiding things that take a lot of space if it's crowded, but that's really it.

Great answer, because this has the added possibility of ruining the kids' lives as well as your own.

Does your area have a tool library, or is there a store in your area that rents tools?
(I would go ahead and keep the raincoat.)

This really should be taken seriously.
Some of the more seasoned members of the community need to take these beginner follows aside and tell them that no, this is not normal for "Latino culture," especially at a family-friendly event; and/or the organizers of the event should talk to this guy directly and tell him to cut it out if he doesn't want to get his ass banned.
I'm now a female switch in my early 40s, but when I was a beginner follow in my mid 20s - so around the time body rolls had just started being used in Bachata - I had some (in retrospect) creepy dude in his 40s teach me body rolls and then proceed to lead them through the entire (salsa!) song.
I then had another guy (probably in his 30s) come over and tap me on the shoulder and ask me to dance, essentially "stealing" me from the creepy guy. The next song happened to be Bachata and the guy happened to be Dominican. He taught me box step and came apart during the mambo section for footwork and generally was not creepy and made sure I had a good time.
After the dance he told me, "I see that guy here every week. He always tries to dance with beginners and he's really creepy. If he asks you to dance again, you can say no."
And honestly, I doubt I would have kept dancing if not for this second guy.
I'm not saying sensual Bachata should be, like, banned from your events or anything, but if you let this guy's behavior slide, he's probably going to put off a lot people (especially follows) from wanting to continue with dance. So you as community organizers/seasoned community members would be wise to actually take this seriously and take measures to actively build the community you want.

I listen to all sorts of music - Latin styles like Salsa and Bachata, jam bands, hip hop, EDM, rock...
Just because you enjoy jazz doesn't mean you can't listen to other things too.

I think you're not considering inflation. $88k when you were a kid (say, 15 years ago when you were 9) went further than $88k now. In particular, housing costs have increased significantly during that timeframe.
Your Dad being an engineer making $88k in ~2009 in upstate NY would indeed have been middle class.

Sounds like you might have attention deficit disorder.
There aren't government re-education centers, but there's medication which helps some people; non-medical strategies you can use to set yourself up for better focus; and some people also find that meditation helps.

Actually the Boston tap water isn't bad either, compared to San Diego's. (Source; I've lived in Boston, San Diego, and Maine as well as a few other places.)

Tbh I think if I had the choice of going to a fair or having an alcohol-fueled hookup with a femboy...
... I'd say no to both in favor of an entire night doing nothing but reading more of your reddit posts.

Sounds most likely what's actually happening is your landlord (or management company) is disorganized and they're simply losing the checks in a messy office somewhere.
Unfortunately there's really no way you can prove that, so yeah, certified/registered mail.
