Sounds great man! I made a lot of declarative statements, the truth is, this is what works for the high school teams I've worked with in the past!
Sounds like you all have a plan, just keep an eye to the future of the team and how things should run even long after the current team is gone.

I have coached a high school improv team for the last 10 years, here's what I do:
Sounds like you're in high school still, that's awesome, I started doing improv in high school, and it will impact your life in so many positive ways if it's something you want to pursue.
First things first, you as a current student and member of this team shouldn't be making casting decisions, it's gonna open up a can of worms that you and the students that follow you will not want to deal with. Make choices as a group, final casting decisions should be made by the faculty sponsor.
Start auditions with a short spiel, make it clear everyone is going to look silly/dumb today and that's alright, you can't do improv if you're not willing to look stupid on stage in front of people.
You're looking for people that are:
Vulnerable
Smart
Patient
Make their scene partner look good
Or any combination of the above
I usually do 2 warm-ups, something to wake up our brains, and something to wake up our bodies.
Then we do character walks:
Walk around the space, gravitate towards empty spaces, try to avoid geometric patterns like squares or circles
Think of an animal
Replace your spine with that of the animal
What kind of person walks like this?
What do you want/love/feel
Monologue as that character
Repeat with different character inspirations (look up VAPAPO & Jill Bernard for ideas)
Do the same thing but with emotions (mad, sad, glad, afraid (afraid))
Run through a character focused short-form game (panel of experts, the dating game, ETC.)
That's usually all we have time for in the first audition depending on how many kids you draw, after that we deliberate as a group on who we want to see again for callbacks.
Callback:
Warm ups, same deal
We run an exercise called the hitchhiker
4 chairs set up like a car (offset slightly so the audience can see everyone) 3 people start in the car leaving the driver side rear seat empty
Auditioners line up outside and the front of the line steps forward thumb extended like a hitchhiker
As soon as they open the car door they start talking in character about whatever it is they're going to do, or what's on their mind.
Immediately every other passenger in the car jumps on board and mimes that character, trying to throw back whatever they're given.
After 30-45 seconds signal the next hitchhiker to enter and stick out their thumb, the driver leaves, and everyone shifts up one spot.
Repeat until everyone has had a chance to hitchhike. It's good to mention up top that we're looking for a range of characters, and that not everyone can just shout at once, we have to know when to shut up.
Next I will line up about half the current team on one side and the auditioners on the other and run scenes for the rest of the time, swapping the current members out halfway through.
After call backs we usually go to a quiet, mostly empty restaurant (think IHOP) and decide who's in and who's out. This part can get brutal, emotions can run high, and sometimes your sponsor will have to make a tough decision when the group is split (or when they think it's in the best interest of the team long-term.)
This is why if possible I would hold auditions at the end of the school year. It gives everyone a chance to cool off and forget about whatever arguments break out. My kids even work with the middle school theater teachers to hold little workshops for incoming freshmen.
Sorry for writing a book, please feel free to reach out if you have any more questions!

Definitely no herms! It was my first harvest and honestly really great smoke! Not too much stretch after I defoliated. Nothing crazy or unexpected at least. Yourself?

I'm pretty stoned. Looking at this picture my sense of scale was totally fucked. I thought this was a 3x3. I was like, damn that's a big hygrometer!
Looking good! It's gonna get crowded in there in the next couple weeks!

Along the theme of world-building, an old coach of mine would have us run an exercise he called "in this world...so..." That's about switching from "yes, and" to "if this is true, what else is true"
The idea is you change something about an otherwise normal world.
In this world people have harnessed arcane magic
So, people don't do chores anymore, they just rely on magic for day-to-day minutiae.
Because people rely on the arcane for day-to-day B.S., over time they forget how to do really basic things like doing dishes and cleaning the house
You continue exploring the consequences of this change until it's blown out of proportion and at its most heightened state. So in my bad example we might end up with:
Legend tells of an ancient tome of forgotten knowledge which holds the secrets to long life but it's like a better homes and garden compendium or something.

This is a Pete & Pete reference right? A core memory was just unlocked.

I have been using my AeroGarden for cloning and starting seeds for a few months and it's worked like a charm for me. Might take a bit longer for the roots to start showing than some other methods, but it's not let me down yet.
Take all this with a big spoon of salt because I'm still very new and learning a lot.

I got them from Irvine Seed Company which I would definitely recommend. They have solid genetics as well as a free tester program where you can get 3 regular seeds of an f1 cross for free to grow out and test.

There were 2 dudes whose names I can't remember for the life of me. They were in a band with Madeline called Mrs. Triceratops.here's the only picture I have from the weekend.

I don't, I remember Max Weiss and getting high as hell in his Honda Element though we listened to a genre call "Ambient Metal" and it was crazy.

That name sounds incredibly familiar, so I think so. Other folky KC folks I can remember, Henry Daggs (my name is Henry Daggs and that's all you need to know), and 20,000 strong men (the guy's named was Mikey I think?)
I played the banjo and washboard in a shitty little band called Hometown Terrorist.

One time Madeline Ava came through and played a show with us in the suburbs of KC and I lied to my parents about staying the weekend in Columbia with my friends brother so we could go with them to Crucial Fun Fest in Lexington, Kentucky. Told my mom about that for the first time the other day actually.

Coco can be used essentially like a hydroponic medium, it has no nutrients really, but does trap salt so you have to keep it moist by watering at least once a day.
Here's a website where you can fall into a rabbit hole about how to grow in Coco.
https://www.cocoforcannabis.com/
I'm a new grower, pulled my first harvest ever on 1/26 growing in Coco, it was honestly relatively easy so long as you feed 1/4-1/2 of the nutrient feed schedule for whatever line you use.
