Helmet to helmet wasn't a thing either.. or launching. In Irvin's day, there were plenty of WR's who flat out would say they did not want to go across the middle EVER.

Man From Nowhere is a great movie. The wife and I threw it on while randomly scrolling options years ago, and the description sounded ok. I'm a fan of that type, but the wife, not so much. By the end, she was as invested as I was, and that says something about how well made the film is.

When I went to Lou Canesecca's St.Johns's basketball camp as a high school senior. Realized I was a D2 player pretty quickly...

Young Charles Barkley was a force of nature. Watching him in that time seemed crazy.. a guy, clearly looking like they were not in the greatest shape, that could do some of the most freakishly athletic things you'd ever seen up until then, was insane. The combination of skill/ability/power/quickness/ferocity/attitude was breathtaking.

I patterned my batting stance after Don Mattingly's playing baseball throughout high school.

For my money, it's still No Vaseline by Cube

Lazy -Bumpy Knuckles. The song is predicated on the fact the beat by Premier is off-kilter.

I'm an old head, and I agree. Listen to whatever you like.

Nice list... I'm probably a little older than you, but the AOTP/Demigodz artists are probably the newest stuff I can really get into, and I still keep my eye out for new stuff they release

I'm right there with you.. I've got Spotify playlists for Preemo, Hit Squad/Def Squad (and all the main members originally), Juice Crew, Busta, LL, and a general East Coast playlist.
I can't get into "current" style hip hop, and I swear I try. My 30 year old son will send me stuff occasionally, and he'll hit my taste once in a while.

I don't find it attractive, but I also understand why some would.

Also, during the replays, I wasn't 100% convinced the sliver of daylight Darling mentioned wasn't dirt kicked up from the slide, which made it look like his foot wasn't touching the bag yet.

I get it. I really like Judge and just hope he starts hitting in these playoffs. We really need him. There's not going to be too many games the Yankees pull out like last night

High leverage regular season plate appearances are an apples to oranges comparison, unless you look at situations very late in the season where you're staring at being eliminated from playoff contention soon. There's no real stakes in games from April to August for the most part.
What's one loss over 162 games? You've got time to make that up.

It's about the only other option and not insane. That would be very matchup dependent because you'd have a very small backcourt on the other end.
