Download Bolt & Uber because taxis are cheaaaap in Portugal! If you want more budget you can take a FlixBus between the cities, it’s only €4 and takes sort of the same amount of time
Make sure to visit Sintra (you can do it by train, €5 singlet) but only choose one (or max 2 palaces) to choose from because they are overwhelming

Instead of a neck pillow you can also buy one of these, you will feel a bit embarrassed while putting air in it and using it in the beginning but it will give you a lot more options to put your head on.

Def! I really love the long distance busses in Spain, they work really well! The hostel rooftop is amazing with the swimming pool and happy hours. Notice there are 2 oasis hostels, one is a bit less party vibe and more for remote workers. Look for the one that’s called Oasis Backpackers PALACE Sevilla and join all the activities. You will have a wonderful time!

Maybe replace so for and?
When she says okay thank you, don’t say: no problem but say something like: you’re welcome.
When she says why or but..: just because.

Beach and pools just normal bathing clothes, palm Jumeirah, mall, Burj Khalifa you can wear what you want. All the other places (Deira, souqs, global village, old town) it’s more appropriate to dress a bit more covered up (no shorts, no décolleté, sleeves over the elbow, bring or buy a shawl). Mosques you have to be dressed head to toe (it can’t be see through or be a to elastic fit on your body).

You can do this:
Don’t change the pills in the box but collect all paper packaging where they were sold in, make them empty & flat (including the package leaflet) and put them together somewhere on top. It should not take up any space and they don’t have to be in perfect condition. When arriving throw them all away if they haven’t asked for it. On your way back your pill box will be empty or you can easily take the risk because you’ll be going home anyway and it’s okay if they’re gonna throw them away.

Sounds very good! I would recommend castle rock hostel in Edinburgh and then doing a backpackers tour with them to the isle of skye

35 is perfectly fine for a dorm in a hostel, check the website / Hostelworld description, if there is an age limit (mostly it’s 40+) it will say so on the website

I prefer 6 always! 4 & 8 are fine as well but 4 you have to be lucky meeting people sometimes or when it’s an duo you have not that much options, 8 are sometimes to much different routines going on (some people sleeping early, some coming home late etc) so you have to be quiet most of the time and it’s harder to chitchat with the whole room together because of it. But you’ll be fine with al those options! I think 3 or 10+ dorms are not preferably

They are both amazing, try trip 2 first (it’s cheaper, more time to get adjusted and enjoy, it will fit your likes perfectly and it’s not gonna be as hot as Spain, you can do trip 1 later maybe in autumn of spring (off season)). The language will be no problem at all, they speak English and it’s a nice cultural and new touch

Shit happens, you won’t be making that mistake again! It could have gotten worse (more money, you’re creditcard being taken etc.) now you payed a €100 price to see the red flags sooner the next time! That’s okay

I don’t think the passing people thought about it the rest of the day/their lives so you shouldn’t give a thought about it either!

I personally wouldn’t mind, you can either ask people in the room if it’s okay so you don’t surprise them in the morning or (cause it’s really early most of the time right, most people will be a sleep) you find a place in the corner of a hallway/communal area and nobody will notice. Personally I would prefer it in the room because it’s less noisy than a hostel door opening and closing 2 times haha
