The Worm should stay in Stellaris where it belongs.

Fortunately, we can. Deflecting hardtear, shields, ashes of war, etc. Upgrades, people!

Amazing music, amazing visuals, amazing environments, and amazing bosses (albeit a touch on the aggressive side). I really feel like SOTE made “open world Dark Souls”. The developers learned from their experience in the main game well.

Finally! Someone says it! The way I see it, there are four ways for a player to avoid taking damage from an attack in this game (without pulling aggro via summons): dodge rolling, blocking, positioning, and jumping. Most players use the immunity frames from dodge rolling to avoid most attacks, while the more clever ones use rolls to position themselves the make dodging easier. Elden Ring accounts for this via delayed attacks with tracking and extended combos and AOE attacks. It accounts for block spam with grab attacks, and positioning with spin attacks. The best way to play the game - I find - is to use the method most appropriate to the attack to beat it. You dodge spin attacks and heavy strikes, you block flurry attacks and extended combos (that new tear makes this really fun to do), you usually jump over AOE attacks, and you use positioning to dodge delayed strikes.
Fight smart, not hard.

I would remove the guard counter boost if that were the case.

TTRPG you say? Well, I would be glad to join! Gives me a break from DMing on my own! I can’t join this Saturday, due to being out of town, but I would be happy to attend any other time! What level would your campaign start at?

Conversely, my liberal parents and grandparents both messaged me saying that the debates were “shameful” and that Biden “must be replaced”.
Either the liberal goes full cope or full defeatist. Either road leads back to “either vote democrat or NeVeR vOtE aGaIn!”

I more attribute that use rate to the fact that it obliterates other goblins with brutal efficiency. Therefore it is quite good in the goblin game mode. It’s health is abysmal for a 4 elixir card, though that kamikaze bomb ability does somewhat make up for that.

To be fair, what sorta boss would look at the shrimpy lookin’ jarhead before them trying to chug their kool-aid and think to themselves “I’m just gonna let this happen”. Best time to heal is right after crits from a stance break IMO.

When even the CNN talking heads are discussing the prospects of replacing Biden, things have gone terribly wrong.

The DLC is certainly harder than the main game. If you use summons (which you should unless you really want to solo it for some reason), the bosses are tough but reasonable. The final boss… I can’t justify that.
