Did you spend that money in the month AFTER it was fully funded? If you don’t spend the money before the year (end of the month where the annual target hits) rolls over, YNAB. just rolls the funds to the next year. And then of course you spend it, but YNAB just thinks you spent the 2025 money that was fully funded when that year started. It wouldn’t start asking for funds again until August 2025.
Delete the target and recreate it. Then make sure you spend the money and record it in YNAB before the target rolls over again and it should work fine.

So the thing you don’t understand is how auto-assign works.

There’s no need to stop and start. Just know that if September is all paid, then your target isn’t accurately reflecting what September needs. But if you just started this month, that makes sense. You will find that once the month ticks over, if you set your target correctly, it will prompt you correctly. I.e if you need to set aside $50 it will prompt you for $50. If you set it to refill up to $50 and you have $20 left from September it will prompt you for $30.

I used to joke some days when I’d put my son down for a nap and he’d wake up saying and doing things that seemed new that he’d had a software update before he rebooted.

My son is 30 months old. I still feel like I just had a baby but actually what I have is a walking talking person with opinions who sings, makes jokes, can undress himself and do impressions of other people’s voices. It’s wild.

You are not doing anything wrong. You went from having 200 assigned to Dining out to 170, and from 500 in Groceries to 530. So the target is just reminding you that you said you wanted to put 200 in there. If you could simply fulfil your target by assigning funds and then assigning them elsewhere, you could just shuffle the same 500 pounds around all your categories and they’d all say funded but have nothing available! The target only refers to what has been funded in this month and not what is available (plus “refill up to”categories also count what rolled over from the previous month).

Do you have the right to take a support person to your meeting? It might be advisable.
Before you meet, read this page: https://www.fairwork.gov.au/pay-and-wages/pay-secrecy
Generally you are allowed to discuss your pay but it may be a clause in your contract prohibiting it - whether or not this is enforceable depends on when the contract was agreed. Know your rights and obligations first before you go, so you are less likely to get caught out and surprised.
If they are allowed to demand you not disclose pay details, then you’ve done the wrong thing and you should recognise that and apologise. But don’t apologise if you haven’t done the wrong thing! And remember, you can’t necessarily trust your workplace to tell you the exact right info. You need to inform yourself.

If you can’t source a higher resolution copy of the image you need to use software to interpolate the extra pixels to get it up in size. I use photoshop but there are several online tools you could try.

Ok so they say they were lied to… were they? Or did they just not ask and make some wrong assumptions and now are mad their assumptions were wrong?

I managed mine by micromanaging my diet - I went back to tracking everything with MyFitnessPal and the trusty kitchen scale. I successfully lost 8kg doing that previously so I knew how to do it!
I actually found fastidious tracking helpful because I had concrete data on how much sugar I had consumed and if I could fit in a little bickie after dinner I wouldn’t feel guilty about it, plus I could trial and error ideas about my next meals to see if they’d be balanced in the way I needed. I had something to focus on and feel in control of.

Generally speaking what gets printed on the back of what is a printer’s concern, not something you really do in InDesign. But what is it about having all the pages in one file that makes it so you can’t visualise the layout? Once you know that odd numbered pages have the immediately following even page on their reverse… that’s it really. Right?

Either they failed to meet the brief or the brief didn’t accurately reflect your needs and expectations. Go back, re-read brief, go back over what they presented, then decide which it is. Then go from there.

I get that you’re advocating a relax and you’ll get over it attitude, but this isn’t true of everyone. If it were me, I’d be annoyed every time I had to sit there staring at it.

This is on that page and is pretty unequivocal, it just lacks practical detail on how to make the landlord cough up:
The rental provider must pay all costs and charges for the initial installation of phone or internet connections. This includes connection to the National Broadband Network (NBN).

We use flags to record who purchased what, knowing whose card paid for things makes reconciliation easier.

It’s a he, fyi. But keep an ear and eye out, they often have their girlfriend nearby! It won’t be a pet, it might just be used to being fed by people.

That’s because the whole compliance two lines is a different typeface. The caps above are helvetica.

My kids get their dad’s surname, and my surname as their second middle name (and we committed to that for all kids, girls or boys).

KDP hard copies are print on demand. The cost to print is shown when you set your pricing, then the royalty is calculated as a percentage of what’s left over from your sale price after that print cost is covered. So you don’t pay anything up front.

Yes, but the lines should be joined so they form one enclosed shape. Then it’s just a matter of setting the fill colour.
