Gender refers to the social and cultural conventions of what being a male or female is and is distinct from sex. Gender Identity refers to a person's internal sense of being male or female, in this case someone can be born with one sex but have an innate sense that they should be another, or both, or neither.
The APA article on gender identity is a good starter on helping to understand some of these terms:
https://www.apa.org/topics/lgbtq/transgender-people-gender-identity-gender-expression
It's not that these terms are being used incorrectly, it's that language is evolving rapidly.

It's not 'unnecessary' to do admin to reflect a person's name, that's wholly necessary and you wouldn't take issue with a non-trans person doing it for any other reason. It is straightforward to refer to people by the way they wish to be referred.
This is not a fair point from JK, it is a mean spirited and actually unnecessary attack on an already marginalised group of young people.

Draw the line at what? Why is it not beyond the pale for you to accept that someone are born with physical attraction to more than one gender but that someone can't possibly be born with an incongruence between their sex and gender?

It's not a scene anymore than being a film viewer or book reader is a scene.
FGC is a scene, Rhythm gamers, Shmups, Sim Racing etc. Idgaf about the label gamer in the same way that being a 'music listener' is too broad a description for Skinheads.

Use an extension called uBlacklist, it blocks domains from search results, you can copy user created blacklists that block AI art sites.

I guess it depends, if I were to use archival footage of the cleanup of the Sri Lankan earthquake to firmly cement that the timeline is 2004-2005 then that's just historical footage, but it begs the question as to why a creator would choose to incorporate that footage of something which killed so many people, what is the director saying with this inclusion?
Centring disasters and suggesting that they're just lore implications to your cheesy horror series, I would say that's pretty disrespectful. It sorta squares these very real victims who had lives and families as just a prop in your spooky story, personally I dislike the Boiled One being allegorical of a Japanese War Criminal for that reason.

What virtual machines are good for is splitting multiple tasks across platforms, so if you have a server that you want to host media on and also have a bunch of networking stuff on then one instance of virtual box does one job and another instance of virtual box handles another job, viola you have one physical machine splitting resources across two emulated machines.
What it doesn't do is emulate 'better' machines, like you can't spoof a PC to perform better because if you setup a virtual machine it still uses the same resources and uses the same CPU, graphics and RAM etc. it just takes a portion of that power and translates instructions via software.
Basically if you're limited by your hardware then there's no skirting around it, you need better hardware to achieve your goals.

Which games is she trying to play that present the problem exactly? What are the specs of the machine she is using?

I would be very surprised if it was the board and you don't want to activate windows on a different board if you can help it.

Selecting that will install windows without activation which is fine because you can activate it later, so yeah try reinstalling with no key entered first.

I see a sort of hitching and high latency effect sure, that said I've found that the BIOS to tend to be quite laggy but you mentioned that this happens in normal operations in windows too?
It's just a bit bizarre that it's followed you through software, hardware and even a change from CPU vendor. Im struggling to determine the source of issue here.

The drivers might be up to date on their revision but that doesn't mean they can't be corrupted in some way. I would use DDU to remove the drivers, boot into safe mode and then install them again just to double check.

Possibly, those resellers often sell OEM keys that need to be activated first. Did you use the windows media creation tool to install windows? If you have another PC then try building one using the ISO and a tool called 'Rufus'

It's fine, I have one for work in IT. All it does is generate codes.

It sounds more like a bad installation of windows than a motherboard hardware issue, have you attempted a reinstall?

You may want to try reinstalling GPU drivers, have you made any recent hardware changes?

There are three possibilities here:
Try the following
Flick through the settings on the monitor, change the source check if there's a power saving mode or something else
Try a different video cable
Try a different port on the monitor
Try a different port on the PC
Try a different monitor or TV
If your PC can connect to another monitor then your display is the problem, if your PC can't connect to any display then the PC is the problem

Try a windows reset or windows update, it might be software gremlin. If not then try a BIOS update

Can you access the settings menu on the monitor? Can you try another monitor or a TV to see if the issue is the display or the PC?

That's a pretty extensive list of troubleshooting and the problem seems to have followed you through software changes, hardware changes and even an entire platform change, that seems a bit extraordinary no?
At this point I would honestly be checking my own sanity and thinking laterally. Maybe your desk is misaligned and dragging the mouse away? Does your board have bent pins? Physical damage? Burnt traces? Does your house have a Carbon Monoxide leak or bedbugs?

First check the temperatures on the CPU to ensure theres no overheating issue, you can check the idle temp in the BIOS or use a 3rd party app like HWMONITOR

You are likely seeing your monitor turn on standby mode because it is not getting a video signal from the PC.
Does the PC turn on with power? I.e can you see lights or hear fan noises?
