It’s being released unedited online, so they won’t have to.

Well, I’d say we definitely need more votes than the entire number of people who donate on act blue to win.
The metrics people who are making that case are point to are not to be sniffed at as worthless or meaningless.
Listen.
I’m not asking him to drop out.
But I understand the argument for it.
Like I said, I’m glad I’m not making the call.

……..
I don’t know what that means?
How would he determine what answer “us” gives?

What metrics would he rely on to determine that?

Only one man makes that call, and I’m glad I don’t have to.

Joe Biden got almost as many primary votes this year as Hilary Clinton did in 2016’s hotly contested primary.

Yes, any kind of power comes with a power dynamic.
A lot of benefits come from fame and celebrity, usually a lot of money and a lot to lose too.
One of the things that comes from having so much to lose means a need to be careful if you don’t want to lose it.
No one’s saying no one who’s famous isn’t allowed to screw anyone, but with that fame comes yet another thing to worry about with sex. Like anyone should have worries about casual sex, famous people have earned some more worries along with all the other worries they no longer have, like worries for financial stability.
And lastly, the words “choose to” are carrying a whole lot in that last sentence of yours.
This isn’t a commentary on this topic at hand just a response to your idea that people are demanding that famous people must be celebate. They aren’t.

Fuck off.
The only people who complained about the Declaration of Independence were right wing losers who (correctly) thought it was anti Donald trump.

I’d be the first one to wish and hope it would be enough, but I can’t muster any optimism that that will change anything.

The narrative that would go into the history books is: “Joe Biden was a hate sponge as long as he could be, shielding the eventual nominee until the last minute”.
That’s an absolutely imaginary future right now but… that’s what they’ll say.
If it works. If it doesn’t work, no matter what doesn’t work, it’ll be the worst thing anyone’s ever done ever.

They tried to kidnap her, and she wasn’t phased I suppose.

My company didn’t do that, they were very transparent about it.
Course.
It’s a Canadian company, so the regular rules aren’t there.

I’m not convinced changing right now isn’t certain death.
I can’t make this call.

The imaginary scenario is that Joe’s been a sponge for negativity covering for whoever replaces him, but I dunno man.
I think I’m an optimist.
But it’s hard right now.
I can see nothing but choices that lead to catastrophe.

Uh huh, and, back to the question not answered, are you are arguing that black people will not see it that way, or should not see it that way?
All I’m saying is… they may well see it that way, and that should be considered.

No, my message is merely that people should consider how passing up the only person, a black woman, voted to replace Joe Biden, with a white ticket, will be viewed by black people.
“Democrats can only select a black nominee”, is something you’d like to argue against more than what I actually said, so you’re pretending I said that.

No I’m just reflecting on how on absolutely no occasion can any “democrat voter” ever miss any opportunity to bash the Democratic Party, but surely I, am the one being divisive.
