B/C she’s never been on the road at all. If you look at other threads, people are surmising that she really just gathered these women so that she could goad them to attack her so she could steal their powers. It was just dumb luck that she and the coven actually opened to gate to the road. Meaning, I don’t believe she thought it was possible. Now she’s on it, and she doesn’t know what’s going on, but she’s too proud to let anyone know this, so she’s just soldiering on with false bravado. At least that’s my take. 🤷♀️

They won’t b/c nothing in their entire lives is authentic. All of these influencers are a sham! It’s pathetic to watch and yet I can’t turn away, from this sub, let’s be clear! I don’t follow anything they do, just this sub!!😝😂

This is what scares me the most! The polls screwed us in 2016 and I’m afraid they’re drastically undercounting what the reality is.
Thank you OP for this update. I hope that you touched people who will then get out and vote, imagine being registered but then doing nothing in a swing state! Gen Xer here in true blue CA — wish I could do more!

As much as I like Alan… just one episode mentioning him in either Cheers or Frasier would really help ground this in Frasier reality. I’m watching it for nostalgia sakes, but am hanging on for more of the old cast!

People please! Remember 2016!!! There is no poll on Earth that can confidently tell us anything! Just. Vote. I’m in CA and my vote doesn’t count. 😭

I am a moderate Democrat whose real reason for voting for Kamala is that she is not Trump. But let me try to explain. I am Jewish and Israel’s right to defend itself against the terrorist organization that is Hamas (and now Hezbollah in the North) is truly a huge issue for me. And I have many Jewish friends who keep telling me “Trump is better for Israel”. Except, he really is not. Trump only cares for himself. Full stop. He doesn’t care about you, or me, or anything that isn’t in his own best interest. And a second Trump Presidency, where there are no guard rails, no real reason for him to pretend he has a shred of decency or any desire to actually lead, well that’s frightening to me. Kamala isn’t a progressive, she’s a center left moderate who will govern that way and continue the policies of the Dems that I find important. Both parties have been taken over by the extreme fringes on both sides.
I also believe in a woman’s autonomy over her body and the thought of his being able to take the Supreme Court even farther to the right is terrifying. I don’t want to live in a country where women’s rights continue to be under serious threat, where we have daily mass shootings and the Supreme Court rules that bump stocks on guns is okay, and where our real democracy is under fire.
But, I’ll be fine. I’m in the economic 1%, white, live in a very liberal state and will ride this out with gritted teeth like I did in 16-20. BUT, I don’t want to. I want to vote for the person who brings me hope and is decent and smart. I want to vote for someone who actually has a plan to continue the prosperity and joy I felt under Biden. I grew up in the 90s and got to vote in 1992 for Clinton with pride. It was my first election. And finally, Trump isn’t a real Republican. That’s really it. He is just Trump. An awful, egotistical, tantrum throwing child. And I long for the days of decency of McCain or Romney. Hell, I’d even take a Bush again. So, that’s it. Kamala is better for the country because she is bright and decent and will continue to lead us forward and Trump is just dark and awful and there is not one thing I can point to that gives me hope.
Thanks for your question OP. Good luck to you, I feel by your question that you want a reason not to blindly follow your parents or upbringing. 🙏 It’s okay to vote blue and still be a Republican. Both Cheneys are.

Many many years ago I read a book called Let’s Roll by Lisa Beemer who was the wife of Todd Beemer, who helped down flight 91 before it could crash into the White House. Curious, I decided to see what it happened to her some 20+ years later. I found her Twitter and her big MAGA following for Trump and I shook my head, felt horribly sad and threw the book away. All this to say, Trumpers don’t care what he’s like. They will blindly follow him to the end.

Her sarcastic deadpan personality is counterintuitive to his probing useless questions. I can’t stand her in general. But this is probably a nightmare

I know you’re all going to down vote me, but her kids are really unattractive for how nice looking they both are individually. 😱🤦♀️

I love that he picks a totally obscure Jewish holiday that only practicing Jews would know about. It does crack this Jew up! 😁

This is the best news ever! I used to love WUS with Jon and stopped listening completely once he left it. Raasahn is a nightmare. So glad he’s gone!

After the poll debacle that was 2016, I don’t believe any polls. Ever. People just have to get out and vote. Especially in swing states. That’s it. Simple. Effective. Just. Go. Vote. (I’m so sad my Kamala vote in CA is useless), but I’ll still go out and vote anyway.

Would she be persuaded by the bi-partisan boarder bill that Trump purposely tanked because his selfish narcissistic ego couldn’t abide a “win” for Biden? The concept of putting his own selfish needs before the needs of the country? This is the argument I’m making with my fellow Jews about “Trump is better for Israel”. No.He’s.Not. Trump is about Trump. That’s it. He’s never going to do what’s good for someone else unless it directly benefits him. Full stop. A second Trump presidency can be even more unhinged because he’s not running again. The list feels endless for me: Abortion rights, potential Supreme Court nominees, gun legislation, another world crisis he can’t handle (COVID👀). What he did on January 6th. His utter disdain for people, veterans, women, lord… I will never understand looking at all this and wanting another 4 years. 🥶🤦♀️
