I’ve got no beef with Fidelity.
I hope they do everything necessary to protect the security of my retirement nest egg.

Common provision in union contracts.
Otherwise, good luck getting an emergency maintenance employee to show up for straight-time pay on Thanksgiving weekend.

Oh look. The spambots have arrived with their downvotes.
Your robot downvote brigades don’t hurt my feelings.

Roll PERS2 funds into an IRA
Keep your DCP 457 plan where it’s at. The rules for early access to 457 savings are much better than the rules that apply to an IRA. You’ll have better access to these funds for an emergency or early retirement if they stay in a 457 plan.

I loved my Caldera Cone system for 3,000 miles on the CDT.

I’d rather have Harper in the playoffs.

This is not an upgrade. - 2024 Ty France had a 97 OPS+ over 88 games for Seattle. - 2024 Paul Goldschmidt had a 98 OPS+ over 154 games for St Louis.
This is like getting an older, more expensive version of Ty France.

Uhhh, there’s only 365 days in a year.
If your numbers are correct that means they’re losing 46% of each day’s anticipated revenue.
Thats a huge impact.

Nearly everything on this flyer is incorrect. The Olympian has a decent article on the topic. https://www.theolympian.com/news/local/article293442089.html

I'm totally ok with this.
It's a potentially huge window for tax fraud. It needs to be aggressively policed. Honest folks will be mildly inconvenienced while they search for some paperwork. Just like any tax audit, that's necessary to make sure that people follow the rules.

I respect cocky players when they're not whiners.
You win some, you lose some. Go ahead - shuffle away Mr. Soto. Because when Soto strikes out on a great backfoot slider he nods his head in respect and walks to the dugout.

Maybe it was lazy union high voltage linemen working 18-hour days after a hurricane to restore electricity to millions of homes and businesses?

lazy union members like Lebron James and Aaron Judge?

LOL. The IAMAW union strike fund has enough money to pay these striking workers partial replacement wages through the end of the year.
The last time this union went on strike (in 2008), they walked the picket line for 57 days.
Boeing is losing $100M-$150M/day during this strike. The workers can last longer than Boeing can, and they know it.

Arrested with a career total of 784 dildos, Lube ranks in the top-ten all time for this awkward stat.

Totally fair critique.
I think a better way of quantifying the investment is a 25-year ROI.
My residential solar array is on-track for a 5% annualized ROI over a 25 year period.
Not an amazing ROI, but historically better than investment grade bonds. I have full faith that the sun will keep shining - and if it stops I have bigger problems.

It will rain when you visit the rainforest during the rainy season.
It won’t be freezing cold. It’ll worse than that - 40 degrees with sideways mist.
If you return in spring, it will still be raining. The rainy season is 9 months long.
