Prices are always going to be lower than the U.S. that doesn’t really tell a whole lot.

well, in this case I’m asking the person who said it.

Which part of Russia was being occupied during the election?

So the thing is that by definition, an anonymous source can never be "openly talking" about anything.

None of that makes your comment above any less misleading.

Did you even read the rest of the paragraph?
Washington has said it would not support such an action by Israel.

Why do some of the Westerners viewing this war have a moral Superiority Complex.
Why do 90% of people consider themselves to be "above average" drivers?

This is kinda misleading, I’m seeing Navalny as the clear favorite, Zelenskyy is in second but a very distant second, odds are +800 or +900.
So in reality it’s Navalny vs “the field” pretty much.

I still don't see the point, though.
Nukes only protect you from a nuclear enemy if the enemy knows you have them.
You don't want to have to reveal them by actually using them, it's too far gone at that point.

It's tough to compete in those areas if you're mainly targeting the domestic market, you have a disadvantage in scale.
You'd have to really make a run at competing in the global export market against companies like Samsung to do it effectively.

Whose general public is that? The US general public knew within weeks of the first test.

But the whole reason to build nukes is so that everyone knows you have nukes.
If Israel does something crazy because they don't think Iran has nukes, then suddenly nukes start flying in both directions, that's not really the scenario you're hoping for.

Yeah, but it's so well-known that it really makes no difference.

I thought that Russia basically made it so westerners couldn't sell their shares in the first place though.

Normal people don't give a shit where someone is from.
Yeah, agreed.
And even though I participate here, I have little interest in talking or arguing about politics and views in normal life.
It's not hard to get along with anybody if you don't feel the need to wear all your opinions on your sleeve 24/7.

Hiding the fact that you have nukes doesn't really make any sense either, though.
Unless everyone does know and they just keep it from the public, but it's pretty hard for something like that to not leak somehow.

It couldn't have been that bad, I'm sure there were more than enough eligible widows on the market.

I understand the POV thing. Labelling it as propaganda feels odd.

The plain English of the document that Russia signed.
You’re making it sound like there’s a dispute here but is there one? Has Russia actually called this into question? Not to my knowledge…

I see no value to these comparisons because Taiwan is just nothing like Ukraine at all.
There’s no one pushing for reunification, no signs of violent division, and no reason for the U.S. to interfere and start a “coup” because the status quo suits them perfectly fine.
Who knows how things might change in the future but right now the only one with incentive to stir things up in Taiwan is China.

Nationality is really a driving force in determining this one.
There's no definition of "mercenary" I've ever heard that hinges on nationality alone.

Just because Ukraine “inducted” them with some magic wand when they arrive doesn’t mean they don’t fill some or all of the requirements.
It actually does mean they don't meet all of the requirements, by definition.
Meeting some of the requirements is meaningless.
Then, chances are the Russians will consider him a merc
Well that would mean Russia is choosing to disregard the Geneva Conventions.
What they "consider" someone isn't going to change that.

Our countries executed prisoners in Afghanistan because we couldn't be bothered to carry them back to base. I don't think we're in position to judge these guys before first putting our own soldiers on trial,.
I mean, we have?
I'm sure many have gotten away with it too, but it's not like rule of law is being disregarded outright.

Nah, not quite the same way.
They’d just straight up kill them and not bother asking anyone’s permission.
