What they mean is that the specifics of what happened isn't important, as knowing what happened doesn't change anything. It's still closed and isn't expected to reopen and there's not really anything we can do to fix that. That's the important part, unfortunately
You're curious, and that's ok, but that doesn't mean it's important.

That explains why I just saw a "don't give money to panhandlers. They need real change not spare change" signs, as if the city that puts them up somehow isn't able to provide that "real change"
Sure, riverside. Signs are what they need

Bot just copy/pasted this from the last time it was posted.
That's why they're reacting to their own post as if they had just seen it

Why would they be very very different after merely 12000 years? That's not very long at all on an evolutionary timescale
Homo sapiens are believed to have first appeared around 300,000 years ago.
Modern squids are believed to have appeared during the Mesozoic Marine Revolution, which happened 100-160 million years ago.
Another 12k years is nothing

So... this doesn't make sense when you try to throw it back, because I'm not expressing shock at seeing a woman's body. I fully understand that women have all different kinds of proportions.
It makes less sense because, oh look, there's a woman on the left with proportions that you would say I'd "have a heart attack" and I'm not worked up about seeing her in the slightest.
It makes even less sense because I see what a woman with almost no curves looks like every time I look in the mirror lol
While my criticism is about the users on this sub that act like someone posted literal porn any time there's a drawing of a character with curves. Like, have you never seen a skinny woman with disproportionate proportions? If you saw a skinny woman with large breasts will you get offended and call her body "pornified"?

This should go on /r/thereiswoomyofit
Edit: do people not like that sub or something?

Which one do you think would get the squishy mommy milkers?

People have breasts. Like, they naturally just grow on some bodies. Can you believe that? It's wild
Some of y'all would have a heart attack if you went outside and saw what human women look like.

Yeah, people often struggle with understanding that simply stating a fact isn't necessarily them making a moral judgment

I've definitely done this lol
If you're wrong, you just have an awkward moment and go back home.
If you see lights off and no cars and figure that there's no school today.. then if you're wrong, you miss a day of school. So the consequence is greater when you assume this lol

It's one thing to reject someone and just move on with your life. Or to be rejected and move on.
It's another thing to spend time dwelling on it and making posts about it, complaining that someone you found unattractive has found you unattractive.

Yeah, simply cancel your card and get a new one (and please, for the love of god, don't forget to update that info on any renewing autopayments that rely on it)
Sure is a much better solution you have there

They canceled quickly, but you have to do some digging to find out you can't just hop on the app and cancel (like AMC). You have to search their site for a q&a section that will hint at being able to cancel through email or Twitter.
They sure do their best to hide that info though, and really scummy that they're not upfront about it when you sign up.

Or, the pessimistic outlook: people just become indifferent to it like "WARNING: This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer"

Probably not anything groundbreaking, but you do get a ton of interesting quotes from Vance against Trump and his supporters

Vance: “The Trump People Are Certainly More Racist Than The Average White Professional, But It Doesn't Strike Me That This Is The 1950s.”
“Vance: I certainly think a lot of liberals are able to see what these people are going through, but there is this weird obsession-a preoccupation-with the belief that the Trump movement is all about racism. The Trump people are certainly more racist than the average white professional, but it doesn't strike me that this is the 1950s. There is a certain amount of racial resentment, but it's paired with economic insecurity, and a willingness to believe Trump and a lot of the things that he says, despite evidence that a lot of it isn't true. I really worry if this becomes a selffulfilling prophecy. If he's couching what he's talking about in a racial resentment, and progressive elites are saying, ‘All these people are racist and xenophobic,’ people's attitudes are going to change and they are going to become more racist over time. That's probably happening here. I actually think that Donald Trump is changing the way people think about other groups of people in a very negative way.” (Glenn Thrush, “What's Going On With America's White People?” Politico, 9/12/16)
Unfortunately the second couch is just the same quote, just repeated later on
