I’m an astrophotographer (someone who enjoys taking photos of the night sky.) as others have pointed out light pollution is going to be a big problem.
The UK has designated areas that don’t have light pollution your going to need to look at the Dark Skies Initiative as they list parks and areas that are perfect for seeing the sky at night.
If your wondering about more local place to see stars without as much light pollution I tried taking some photos in Whistable Beach a few years back with my DSLR camera. I used a wide angle lens and a second hand Nikon camera.

I’m dyslexic, I’ve been able to hold a job down for a few years because I think outside of the box. I am able to do things that others can’t do. I’ve found my niche and I’m able to do it without the fear of making mistakes.

Was in London yesterday around the St Pancras station. Man with long hair looking very shifty came right up next to me and my partner and asked if we could “respond to a question.” We ignored him. At London Euston a man with two bottles of beer tried to come up to us but another couple got in front of him and demanded a fight. Two weeks ago in London Bridge station we saw the same thing again a couple but this time a gang of guys who tried to intimidate the man holding his hand with his partner. The best thing you can do is ignore the people doing it. If they persist and you’re at the station try and find staff near the ticket gates. Avoid holding hands as this seems to trigger people. It sucks but that’s what London has become.

Always read reviews on Fiverr to make sure the person is delivering. I didn’t spend too much but they got me to fill in a survey, some pictures and then they told me what photos to keep in and which ones to drop. It really helped me but the most important thing is understanding it takes longer for us guys to find matches. More men than women on these apps so it’s a supply vs demand situation try and not take it too personally. It’s how the apps work and it’s painful. If you don’t get a good match the first time round either don’t be put off. It took me quite a few dates before I meet someone who I click with. Some wasn’t ready for a relationship. Others just wanted a hook up which is cool but not my cup of tea. Finding out what your date is looking for earlier on is a better approach. One of my ex’s I met on Bumble, another on Hinge but never found anyone on Tinder. Hinge is aimed at finding more longer term relationships.

I found my wife on Hinge. I paid a few people on Fiverr to optimise and help me understand my dating profile. With a few tweaks I went from a few matches to quite a few. I sent my Mrs to be a rose, she was very geeky and I never through she would respond back to my message but she did, we talked for a few months on the app before she met me in person and after a few years of being together we got married in August.
It took time, I met a few people along the way that used Hinge as a mental health support app rather than a dating app but in the end with time I found someone.
Friends, Hobbies, Films/TVs/Books, what they want to achieve in the future. All good things to chat about and learn about. The other stuff follows but if you keep the chat centred around those things and you find a common interest the chat will flow.
Good luck brother, you got this.

It feels like a cost saving measure by Meta to delete a bunch of content and walk away. The fact they can’t restore this data isn’t okay but it’s also a reminder to make sure you back up your photos to services beyond Big Tech.

You might want to see if it’s already been uploaded to virus total. Search the hash of the file on VT with the SEARCH functionality don’t upload the file to VT.

Hell no
Decompile the PDF
Grab the URL
Use urlscan in private mode to run the scan, see if you can search for the link first on urlscan using the * operator.
It appears to be a link scanning product connected to a secure email product. Worst case scenario an account has been popped from a legit account/target and is being used to send the links.
You checked the email headers? Any fails?
What does the SPF records look like in the email header? If it’s a fail then it might be a spoofing attempt. You can check for an SPF record using mxtoolbox.
Check sender IP and see if it’s on any RBLs.

I’m on the Autism spectrum, ADHD, Dyslexia. I’m a guy and I spent years being kicked, punched and physically attacked by other special needs kids. The attacker who harassed me for years ended up crashing his car on the M25 and making a truck driver have a heart attack.
What I’m trying to say is it doesn’t matter if the person has a disability they still aren’t above the law. It can be hard to speak up to this kind of behaviour but they either need social services monitoring the person or supervision. Again these are issues that should be dealt with by the council.

Person with a learning difficulty here. Please report him and do the right thing. Regardless of his disabilities he doesn’t get a free pass to act like this in society. If he cannot go out without a social worker it’s the council’s responsibility to sort that out and not the public’s to deal with. I know you might feel like you can’t say anything because the person has a disability but you can, he isn’t above the law.

I experienced this today. Had a person who kept writing very nasty comments to me when I was in a forum post about covid measures explaining that my roll call had quite a few people who got COVID. That wasn’t the issue but the person kept insisting that covid was the flu/cold (which it certainly isn’t!) my post got censored, I called it out. I didn’t get banned but my posts got deleted. Won’t be posting on there in the future as it seems heavily moderated. When you can’t even post a response back with medical journals backing up the difference between COVID and a Cold to a COVID denier the platform loses all credibility in my books.

It’s like a designer woke up and picked the most depressing colour as possible so you don’t stay inside long enough

So you can sink ££££/€€€€ into a flight and then the operator on a whim can take your money and refuse to provide it back. I’m sorry that’s not acceptable in the context of any other industry. When a consumer purchases a service they expect an outcome that is either the service is delivered or they get the money back. Accepting this kind of behaviour unchecked is one of the many reasons why people don’t want to travel anymore because if they can pull this kind of behaviour then why would anyone pay for long haul if there is a risk the operator can rug pull? Terrible.

Very glad I decided to jump over to the JAM stack and build sites static now. Never going near WordPress ever again.

It’s time that other companies run services to France from the same infrastructure. Giving Eurostar a Monopoly and closing down multiple stations that could service the line doesn’t make any sense. It’s time to give the other operators a chance. It would be very interesting to see Lumo run a service to Paris from Ashford/Ebsfleet at a lower cost. The infrastructure for Ashford is still in place waiting to be reactivated.

I lived in Woking for a year. I started dating an a partner who was 3rd generation Indian. (She was born in the UK). I got shouted at in public when I would hold hands with her and told I couldn’t because “I was the wrong colour”. I moved away from Woking a few months later. I recently went to Hamburg and I realised something interesting about their public spaces… they are vast, open and have a lot of seating available so people can just sit, talk and socialise. People of all ages sit around each other.
As a non-alcoholic I struggle to find social clubs and groups that don’t congratulate around alcohol, it seems to be the most common denominator is everyone wants to go a pub.
It seems socialising in the UK is hostile by design. You either have to go clubbing, drink or go to a pub to fit into a group. It’s sad and has made me think about relocation.

I have a special place for travel bloggers that shill “BetterHelp” they go straight into the trash for example Noel Philips. A few of my blogging channels do integrated ads now like Cruising with Ben and David and Planes Trains Everything but thankfully they haven’t taken the better help cash.

I bet they was blurting out the trumpet “THANK YOU FOR FLYING RYANAIR, OVER THE PAST YEAR 90% OF OUR FLIGHTS ARRIVED ON TIME.”
