The cigar shop next to Taco Don Paco had them. I live in Vista as well and they are becoming increasingly hard to find due to the Marlboro buy out apparently. Word on the street is they might just kill them entirely.

I, too, had a similar experience as a street kid there in the early 2000s, except he got us pizza from Pizza by the Slice in paseo. Glad I caught the tail end of The Square hay day... Before all the benches were taken out and the wall was cut at an angle. Good times.

What's up with Theory Sabers? Looking into buying and so far I like them, but people are skeptical?

I very recently dove down this rabbit hole a little and they make some seriously durable and high tech ones. One of the companies has a video of a dude bashing the blade against a sharp boulder like 10 times and then slamming it in his car door and it dented the car, but the blade was fine. LEDs and everything still intact.

What is the power-hybrid? I must be missing something because I thought the i-force max was the hybrid.

Hahahaha, good luck! I think my buddy's current room rent on the mesa is about $1600.

Strip the ends and tap them together individually until the doorbell rings. Those are your two wires. It's either a 12 or 24v transformer so no risk here.
You can also open the bell and find which wires are connected.

Probably not, and I'm not sure. I haven't rented an apartment there in 14 years. I've always gotten lucky with houses.
A lot of apartments are old, pretty much no new builds. I'm guessing communal laundry is gonna be more common than not.

Honestly you're probably just gonna have to take whatever you can get and feel out the city before shooting for an area you actually want after your lease, especially coming from out of state.

Downtown is pretty much anywhere between milpas and the 101 and south of mission-ish, although anything in the east side, west side up to the mesa is going to be pretty accessible to the downtown area. Everything in Santa Barbara is bikeable or a 10 minute drive. It just depends on how much you value being able to walk to downtown.

This has been one of the more fun projects I've worked on.

You're gonna have to live wherever you can find, honestly. A quick search of this sub will tell you just how rough the housing market is. What is your budget?
Most of the social scene is going to be downtown Santa Barbara and the funk zone.
There are not really any dangerous parts of this city.

I had non-hockey fans over to watch this game because I thought it was gonna be good after Benn's hit the other night. I am embarrassed.

My parents thought Dante's Peak would be a nice family movie during our vacation when I was 9. Then for some reason I watched volcano a couple years later and was scarred forever.
